Jamal dropped 19, 6, and 3 tonight on 7-14, 3-6:from distance, and two thefts.  I'm rooting for the young man.

Herman Cain

I think one of the more under rated aspects of sports is the value of being a likeable teammate .

Jamal is one of those guys that teammates enjoy playing with and being around . They see he is enthusiastic ,putting in the work and committed to a teamwork style of play . He is getting the support of veterans and that will go along way to further his cause

We have seen the same thing happen with Juan who was willing to do the duty work at Golden State with a smile. Had great support from the best players and coach as a result .

Sam is also a guy teammates have enjoy playing with over the years. Unselfish and works within the team concept . Got rewarded with a nice deal  from the Celts

Solid  points Herman.  Likability matters. He's a great kid.  It would be a tremendous story if he makes the Heat roster.   I'm sorry your business was impacted by Ian.

I'm a Sam fan and wish him nothing but the best but that is a ridiculous question.

I'm assuming you are being sarcastic.

I was glad when Jamal left.  The sooner all of Wojo's recruits left (except the Hausers), the better.  Don't let the door hit you on the way out, aina?  You don't know ball if you think Jamal was any good

Once again, Herman comes thru with the under the radar stuff that make a difference.  Great points people should heed in all walks of life

I don't believe Sam is hated.  I think Sam could only garner respect for the decision he made.  It may not have been the most popular, but he wanted to keep the family together.  If it was between Markus, wojo, MU fans and family, he gave family the benefit of the doubt and now you can see the results.

For all we know, he and Joey may not be on the best of terms, but they are still family.  The rest can be worked out privately which is where it should be

Yeah, I can't speak for everyone, but I think Sam is not hated. Disappointed in his decision as it relates to Marquette basketball. On the surface, the team would have been a top 10 team, and if things clicked, may have made a Final Four. That may have been enough to get him and MH drafted. It doesn't matter how one player acts (looking at you Joey), the blame falls on those in charge (Wojo).
