Indiana plays a decent team for the first time and gets smoked, imagine that...

WhiteTrash

Classy move by Day to punch it in while IU is letting the clock run out.

PGsHeroes32

Good season for Indiana but not quite ready to hang with the big boys. On the right track

But that went how most expected

Oregon vs OSU part 2 will be a doozy

Be curious to see Indiana next year.  They were kind of exposed against Michigan who couldn't take advantage of it because the offense was so bad.  Ohio State lived in the Indiana back field

Billy Napier knocking both LSU and Ole Miss out of playoff contention in consecutive weeks is pretty cool.

Uh, Kansas is now three scores up on Colorado.

Question: Are you supposed to go for 2 up 33-10?

4 score lead vs 3 (three TD's, with all  2 pt conversions).  But it's pretty unnecessary if a coach is really worried about that. But some coaches just blindly follow the analytics.

Uncle Rico

Whatever ailed the Kansas offense earlier in the year seems to be corrected.  They run some tight stuff

Thx.  Hopefully Nebraska holds on.

If Huskers hang on and  win, Huskers will become Bowl Eligible. Not ordinarily a big deal, however for Nebraska their fan base will eat it up.

Yeah, their fans are stupid

Excellent game for Jayhawks RB Neal . Buffs will need to mount a major comeback to win.

Classic PJ Fleck right there.

Not talking kicking the field goal to go down 1 instead of going for it on 4th and goal at the 8. That was fine. Even completely not being ready for the fake punt was excusable(I guess)

The classic Fleck was before that. Gophers marching. PSU on their heels. 1at and goal at the 8. Does a run up the gut into 8 defenders with Jackson in motion. 0 yards.

then on 2nd and goal they run a designed screen to a LINEMAN that ate 17 manatees before the game.

Unreal.

Arizona State had 4th down and had the QB try and throw it high and far out of bounds to end the game but there was a :01 left according to the officials.

Fans rushed the field and now officials are trying to get them off to play the final play.  BYU has a chance to launch a Hail Mary from about midfield

Fickell is safe, right?

(I may have been wrong when I thought he was a home run hire)

They lose next week at home to the Goophers and it gets interesting, even with the huge buyout.

ND uniforms: U.G.L.Y.

Maybe I'm prejudiced by the sharp Army uniforms on the field.

BYU escapes Ok St.  BYU escapes Utah...then loses in back to back weeks and flames out of playoff contention. Brutal finish

I honestly don't know much about college football, but Penn St. at #4 seems pretty questionable.

Its James Franklin. The big game flop is coming. Again.

They survive the games where they have middling talent. Then lose to anything with aspirations.

Probably in reality like the 8th ish best team in the country

They were lucky to get by SMU, who fumbled on the 4 yard line in the 4th quarter, earlier in the year also.

The Sultan

So here are my playoff thoughts.

The Big Ten will almost assuredly have four - Oregon, Ohio State, Penn State and Indiana. All play at home against inferior opponents next week, and a loss in a championship game by either Oregon or Ohio State won't knock them out.

Notre Dame is a lock. Big 12 will only get one. So will the G5, and it will likely be Boise. (Boise would get the last bye if the season ended today.)

ACC will either get one or two. Winner of ACC championship obviously. SMU is in and Miami is in with a win at Syracuse, which won't be easy. Clemson will be in the game otherwise. Kinda think the ACC needs to root for Miami to win next week because I don't think they get two otherwise.

In the SEC, I think Texas is a lock, but they have to go to A&M, which is going to be wild. Georgia has Georgia Tech which should be a win but who knows. Then you have Tennessee back in the picture, but they go to Vanderbilt. I would say they have  four with a A&M win and no upset. Three with a Texas win.  However...

I could also see South Carolina getting some looks if things get really wild - they win at Clemson, Miami loses to Syracuse and SMU wins the ACC.

Results from the Big 18.  A lot of these games have direct impact on Marquette's cause and NET:

USC 19 UCLA 13: USC is bowel eligible now.  UCLA is not but the checks are cashing.

Penn St. 26 Minnesota 25: Gutsy fake punt call held ice the game.  Kudos to Frames.  Still expect them to doink a home playoff game.

Nebraska 44 Wisconsin 25: Nebraska is officially a blue blood again, earning its 6th win and becoming bowel eligible.

Michigan 50 Northwestern 6: Giving up 50 to Michigan is not easy.  Kudos to the Wildcats for one of the worst performances of '24 but also kudos to Michigan for unleashing the money cannon at Brian Kelly.

Ohio State 38 Indiana 15: Indiana will make the playoff but they're a fraud.  The o-line is amongst the worst in the Top 10.

Illinois 38 Rutgers 31: Rutgers coverage on Illinois game-winning TD was amongst the worst end of game plays you'll ever see.  Twas' truly amazing

Iowa 29 Maryland 13: Maryland sucks.

Michigan State 24 Purdue 17: Michigan State sucks, too
