That's just it!  Were in the sport for a century.  Play 10 minutes, guarantee a possession for each team.  Ends in a tie?  So be it.  Or do the 1 possession from the 25 for each team and if it's a tie?  So be it!

College Football built a new playoff system, and in it looks like it may end up looking as ridiculous as the previous iteration in the first year.

I know the easy answer is "that's why they are bad teams" and "that's how good teams win"

But I swear there's something going on these last 3 days. The way these teams are blowing upsets is insane.

Bears. Raiders. Georgia Tech. Now Michigan.

They are doing the absolute 1 thing in all situations you cant do, to lose

Unrelated, I like Mario Cristobal but his teams always seem to just play impossibly stupid. Tons of talent and an elite QB but always doing dumb stuff or taking bad penalties.  End of the half, on their own 35 with 45 seconds and 2 TOs, WR makes a catch across the middle for a first down and wastes 10-12 seconds running BACKWARDS 2-3 yards to try and reach the sideline.  There was also a hold so they just take a knee and go in.  Moronic

Ohio State probably makes the playoff, still, cuz they need 12 teams.  They'd get in before Indiana because of head-to-head.  If they crap the bed in the playoff opener, I won't be surprised if they just fire him.  Sounds crazy, but 0-4 in the last 4 against Michigan, missing the Big 18 title game again and general hatred by the fans and I don't think it's outlandish.
