Quote from: tower912 on December 24, 2024, 09:42:01 AMSultan, for the sake of argument, GB wins their first playoff game.  What is the biggest mountain to climb in the second round?   At Minnesota, at Philadelphia, or at Detroit?

I would rather play Philly, Detroit and Minnesota in that order.

I have said all along that Minnesota and Darnold are legit.  I would rather the Lions play them in Detroit in the playoffs.  I would rather not worry about it beyond Sunday.   Guilty.

Grammar helps.

Minnesota is really good.  Darnold is really good.  Few things would please me more than GB doing the dirty work for Detroit.  Or should I believe that you won't be pulling for SF on Monday night?

If the Packers were to win the Wild Card round, I'd like to see the Vikings, Lions, Eagles most to least.

What does Green Bay have to do this week?  Having Love with two healthy legs is a good start.  Don't fall behind and abandon the running game.  Alexander able to play would certainly help.

Jaire Alexander has listed injury as his knee.
Has been out a number of games.
Watching weekly injury report he appears to practice early in the week, but when it comes to game time he is out.

tower912

Perhaps he doesn't trust it in games yet.

I'm pretty sure he had a torn PCL. I've had that injury, doesn't require surgery, but it takes a while to trust it in anything that requires cutting/explosiveness.

Not surprising he is able to practice but not play.

Yeah and there's not much reason for him to play until week 18. I know they can still pass the Vikings but beyond that, why risk it? Try to get some snaps in at home next week and go in the playoffs.

Because if we lose today and Washington goes 2-0, they pass us and we get to play at Philly in round 1.

You're right. I was looking at SOV, not conference record.

Dodging some early bullets.  Wonder what they're running coverage wise to confuse Darnold.  Be nice if the color guy told us
