There was no doubt the defense wouldn't get a 3-and-out to start the half.  A lot of wasted draft capital.

And Lambeau hasn't been a home field advantage in decades

I'm a fan of throat stepping.  But against the best teams that unnecessary risk can cost you.  Subjugation is also different in basketball vs football.
