Congratulations to new Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson.

Obviously, with her being the first Black woman selected by the president and confirmed by the Senate, it's a historic event.

She also brings a unique perspective from her long, distinguished history in law, having served as a public defender early in her career.

She was confirmed 53-47, with at least some bipartisanship. Eminently qualified, she now has been confirmed three times for the highest courts in the land.

You just like her because she was a reporter for a year between college and law school

Just curious, will she be sworn in immediately and take a seat on the bench or wait unit Breyer completes this term at the end of June/early July. I would imagine all the cases have been decided and the opinions are being written as we speak.

I saw something that said she'll be officially official when Breyer retires.

So what happens if he changes his mind?
