That was probably the best Ted Lasso episode of the entire series.

Shut up and dribble, aina?

The wife and I ended up binge watching Shrinking on Apple+ over the weekend.  Loved it.  More feel good watching similar to Ted Lasso.

Wife and I started watching it. We made it about halfway through Season 2. We took a break a few weeks ago and neither of us have felt the need to go back to it. We'll finish it at some point but so far I do not understand the hype.

Yep.  I finished S02 and was tired of it.  It was .. repetitive about things that I stopped caring about .. who is going to get control of the company, amongst many preposterous choices.  Yaaaaay.

Yup, pretty much.  Which new decision will they ultimately end up not really making a decision about?

I think final season of Succession has been great. Interested to see how the final 3 finish up.

I think Barry has been even better though.

I get why people didnt with the slower pace and total change up.

But based off the ending of the ep I think the pay off with the final 3 will make it worth it. So ep 5 kinda gets a incomplete for me.

Intrigued how Hader and co wrap it up.

I think the season has been very good -- perhaps not as good as the first two, but still very good.

And the most recent episode was the best of the season IMHO. Incredible interaction between Tom and Shiv, both of whom have been outstanding all season (thanks to the acting of Matthew Macfadyen and Sarah Snook, and great writing).

Yeah last episode had a lot of really good interactions with Tom/Shiv being the highlight as you said. I enjoyed Greg having to fire hundreds and his trying to fit in with Matsson. Kendall and Roman interactions are always great.

Skarsgaard is so damn good in the sleazeball role as well.

Agree with all of that. I had been getting a little sick of Greg, but that was a good episode for him.

Ted Lasso was really strong last night. Several good true-to-character LOL moments and also they deftly handled Colin's storyline in the locker room. The press conference after the match was absolutely fantastic - probably locking up another Emmy for Goldstein.

I haven't enjoyed the show as much this season as past seasons, but this episode felt like a return to form.

And I say that as a fan of that garbage-ass team that won back-to-back Superbowls.

I thought it was the best episode of the series so far. And I agree that the season on the whole hasn't been as strong as past seasons, but they absolutely hit every aspect out of the park. Colin's storyline was the obvious throughline, but how they handled Roy, Rebecca, Isaac, and all the other characters surrounding it were advanced so, so well.

Agree. Ted Lasso needed an episode like that, as this season had been meh. Hopefully it's a prelude to a great finish.

I got started late with TL after reading some posts here that this season was not so hot. I've been pleasantly surprised by the whole season. This last episode was another good one. Going to miss TL when it's done.

Started watching Angel City (HBO), I’m a soccer junkie so I dig it. I like hearing from the players, past and present. and about their journeys. I would totally go to an ACFC game.

8 episodes in to Aquarius on Netflix.   Enjoyable.  Snappy, clever, occasionally gritty, good characters.

I'll be very interested to see if they spin it off into something else. They could very easily continue the series around the central non-Ted cast and call it AFC Richmond, or Greyhounds, or something similar and keep it going. While Ted is central, there's enough interest in Roy, Jamie, Keeley, Nathan, Rebecca, Sam, Colin, and the rest of the cast to keep the club running with or without the current manager.
