His teammates raved about his athleticism during the preseason.   If he is using his red shirt season to add muscle and develop skills, then MU is going to really enjoy him next year.

Keeyan won the dunk contest.   Over JLew, OMP, Oso, TKo.
Luke 6:45   ...A good man produces goodness from the good in his heart; an evil man produces evil out of his store of evil.   Each man speaks from his heart's abundance...

Newark, NJ, But I assume your talking about midwest towns/cities. By the way I live in Jersey and a lot of people think its a crap hole as well, but the Jersey Shore is second to none in my opinion. When you are far from home its easy to become homesick. Coming from the east coast I was impressed how friendly the Milwaukee locals were; to the local barber and to the guy at the laundromat. The father of one of my fellow choristers was general practitioner and his dad said if I needed any medical concerns taken care of to go seem him. The few time I did see him I offered to pay, but he alway refused. I would send him and his wife flowers on Valentine's Day thanking them for their kindness.

The thing is, there are good people that live in crap holes.

I loved it in Milwaukee. Early '70 I think it went 3 wks. without getting to zero. Definitely could not do that now. Re: '69's comments, I was astonished at the level of friendliness. Of course, compared to New Englanders, even New Yorkers seem pleasant.

I also think that one's opinion of a place is dependent on their current circumstances.
Say you were struggling to make ends meet working two jobs at your current location.  You might have a different opinion of that place than one where you had disposable income and leisure time to enjoy yourself.

Too many bullets flying through the air. Gotta hunker down, hey?

Ah Fo, if I recall you were complainin' a few years ago about the wreck less drivin' and such on Capitol Dr. to and from work each day. Have you changed your route, hey?

Nope. Just drive a bulletproof vehicle while wearing a bulletproof vest, aina?
