We should extended the lead to 7-8 on a few occaisions. But sustaining it for a whole half, idk.

We lost our poise PG.  We took a lot of bad shots during their run.  That non rebound by Kur upset me greatly.  I feel like we didn't take advantage of their offensive futility. The intensity must increase dramatically in the 2nd half, you know they will attack the rim.

Fantastic first half.  Probably won't outshoot Nova from behind the arc in the second half, so need to keep fighting on the boards and limiting second chance points.  First four minutes will be key

We 100% look like we belong on the floor with Nova.  Our length and overall defense "travels."  We played a good half, though I wouldn't say it was our A game. 

Kur has been better than Oso tonight.  Need to see a little more Kolek pick/roll action with those two.  Kolek has been pretty conservative in his play.

Our block outs have been much better this game.  When you can win games giving up so many O-rebounds as we have the last two games..it bodes well for other wins if you can just tighten that up.

I think the most important part of the second half will be how well MU continues to defend without fouling.

Nova 0 FT is VERY uncharacteristic and an awesome sign that Marquettes defense is legit.

That said, I'd be very surprised if Nova doesn't get a good whistle this half and get to the line at a decent clip. If they get there less than 10x I think Marquette has a chance, even if some 3s fall for villanova. If they get there 15x it's likely blouses

We give up a 9-0 run and still lead at half. This team has found its MOJO again. If Nova really  is 11 in the country, Marq is gonna make some noise in March

Was that the backcourt violation?

I think the clock is set at 20 when a team takes over on a dead ball turnover  at mid court or closer. Just like an offensive rebound.

I may come to regret this, but so nice to watch a game without the refs constantly asserting their presence.
