I have no specific timelines on this but the same source for the wojo speculation revealed the lewis info to me today.

Hes gone guys.  Its not tea leaf reading i dont give a rip.   I could care less about getting things riled up here but its happening.

You can all kiss my feet when the announcement comes and thank me for my mu hot news connections.

You've made your point. Now, please sit back, be quiet and wait for the announcement. It's the mature thing to do.

Should that happen, you'll get to gloat. It will be the immature thing you'll do.

Marquette is in this position because of their own making.  Throw Covid out, everything else being the same, some fool decided to give Wojo a contract extension complete with a pricey buyout after the 2018-19 season where the team disintegrated down the stretch and may have been over-rated going into that fateful decline.  Someone valued it more than what it really was and now we have to cut off our arm to get out of the handcuffs that extension has placed on the school.  It's easy to say Covid has an impact and it does to an extent.  However, we were destined to be in this situation no matter what the day they extended him so we were going to have to cut him a check no matter what.  The only difference is that Covid has made it difficult to pony up the funds.

It's hard to expect the guy whose lack of game coaching that's primarily responsible for our current state is suddenly going to be able to right the ship and fix it when he has never done such a thing.  As of right now, Wojo's career coaching accomplishments amount to grinding a program into the ground.  Wojo wasn't a good hire in the beginning, once they pulled the trigger on him, they were pretty much stuck seeing if it would amount to anything.  After year 5, it was evident, but the school doubled down on a poor hire then and here we are.  Hoping and praying instead of being in control of our destiny.

Many people will say they had to do what they did in May 2019.  They didn't have to do anything.  In fact that was one instance where doing nothing would have been better than doing anything.  However in March 2021, because the school did something in May 2019, They actually need to do something now.  Doing nothing now would likely be far worse than doing something.

Yeah, MU wuz biddin' against itself, aina?

He deleted it but I’m sure many saw this no lifer posted preemptively putting the blame on Lewis as a locker room problem (mature).

I’m 100% sure this guy is compromised as far as knowing Wojo, friends with the family, friends with an assistant coach, hard to say. But it makes me believe the Lewis transfer is true.

Hope the Wojo’s continue to invite you to dinner, Guzicka!

add Todd Townsend to the staff? He’s got D-1 assistant coaching experience and resides here in metro-Mke.
Agree I spoke with Todd last year and My Family has done work with Todd inMilwaukee. Do not know about his coaching but he is a solid person.

I like Todd. Good dude, good experience. Where was he this past season after leaving Valpo?

How about Jon Harris? Assistant at GB, Mo State, Tennessee, and Cal, head coach at SIU-Edwardsville, an extremely difficult job. He’d bring toughness, smarts, experience to our bigs.

Jon Harris also super good dude.  Had drama lit with him as an elective.  Attended a couple plays as part of the class with him.  Friends used to make fun of me for my “date” with Jon Harris lol
Definitely would bring toughness to this team.  Rather he come along with a new coach.

TT was out of the game the past year or two. I believe he’s an insurance/risk mngt  broker in the Milwaukee area. Solid guy.

Wasn’t Fitz working for the Athletic Dept in some capacity?  I remember seeing him at the FF with credentials fairly often
