Not bad for a 30 year old.

I mean, a highly touted recruit should be a star by his fifth year in college.  Glad Tom Izzo might get good play out of him after four years

Sam tonight: 24 points in 32 minutes. And they seem to love him in Boston. I think he has arrived.

Good luck keeping him on the court come Playoff time.

I think we're getting additional information that Wojo had no idea what he was doing. Very unfortunate he didn't have  a more diversified offense.

WTF??

His defense is suspect and rotations will shorten. We will see.

+/- was -1 while the starters were all +15 or better.  Stat can be deceiving, though.  But the greater point stands about benches shortening for a reason

WTF??

He was a -1, and doesn't fill the rest of the stat sheet.  He's a shooter only.

Apparently this will be your insightful analysis anytime any of Doc's Three Caucasian Gods have a good game.

They won't be rooting for each other because two of them hate the third, but you lust for them all.

He went 6-12 on 3 pointers in 32 minutes. Playoffs or not, that kind of production will earn you some playing time. I never said he was NBA all star material. But he's getting a chance to play and he's proving himself. WTF, a year ago now he was playing for the Maine Lobsters or some such thing in the G-League in front of 500 people. I'd say he is making strides.

I'm with dick here. Sam had a great night and is having a solid start to the season for a contender. There's no need to sh*t on him. Just say congrats and move on.

There's also no need to have a 26 page (52 if you haven't expanded your posts per page) thread specifically dedicated to two players who transferred out over three years ago but I digress

Agree 100%. The young man can shoot, and every team needs that ability. He can have a long, rich NBA career.

Joey laid an egg tonight against Gonzaga

Fouled out 2 points and 1 board in 19 minutes

Hell of a game by starter Joey. 2 points on 0-5 shooting, 1 rebound and 5 fouls in a loss to Gonzaga. What a difference a hall of fame coach can make!

Not sure.  But Gonzaga tipped the bottle over one more time than required.

Checked Spartan Twitter to see.  Lots of anti-Joey sentiment despite Tom Izzo making him into a great player.  This was my favorite

The best stretch was when Joey committed 2 turnovers and airballed a 3 during the 11-0 run that got the Zags back in the game.
