I conpletely agree.  Tiafoe can go medieval when you take into account his speed/athleticism.  I'm totally lost why the Men's Final is at 1pm Eastern on Sun.  Usually it's 4pm.

Probably football related again. Don't want to go up against the late afternoon games.

Was an Excellent final. Sabalenka kept her focus and finally won a US Open. Young lady has a Big Personality to go with her power game . Was great to see her smiling after the win as compared to destroying raquets  last year .

Love the Tennis Grand Slam tradition of meaningfully  recognizing the runner up. Hopefully, Pegula can break through and win a Slam either Singles or Doubles. Seemed like this year was a great opportunity .

I didn't watch any of the mens final. Enjoy the womans side of the tournament much more . The games are more fun to watch versus a bunch of aces in mens

Devastating.  One of my 5 favorite athletes ever.  It's hard to fully quantify his total dominance at Roland Garros.

Okay, can someone who follows more closely tell me a little bit more about Michelsen and Tien? Michelsen looks the part of a guy who could be a top 5-10 player if he is consistent. I didn't see much of the Tien match, but watched highlights of his win vs. Medvedev and was impressed by his plan and precision.

How do they compare to Tiafoe, Fritz, Paul at similar career stages? I can check the results but don't have an eye test reference since I started getting into tennis only a few years ago.

Michelson is destroying people so far. He was too good for college tennis

Thien is a cool story who beat Medvedev at his own game but I would say his ceiling is lower for this tournament as of right now. Either way exciting that Both are super young. We will see I guess.
