Yep ... they left the wrong guy wide open.

Or, in the case of our heroes, the right guy.

Truly a gift to get to watch him play for likely the last time.  It was really fun to have the TBT in the middle of all that is going on in the world.

Pretty sure this was his last ride.  What a way to go out

I think we all can agree now, at last, that Travis Diener was not just a "dime a dozen" PG.

The gulf between what the gr8one thinks he knows, and what he actually knows, is far and wide.

Reminds me of a Bobby Knight quote, when he said something like, "I have forgotten more about this #%$ing game then you will ever know."

That quote never made sense. Thinking of it mathematically, If Bobby's knowledge was on a scale of 1-100, a 99, but he forgot 85 , and now he is at a 14, and person X  is at a 70 (which is less than Bobby forgot). Person X  currently has more basketball knowledge than Bobby. This is what happens when I work from home.

Diener is an all time great. Was fun to watch him wear blue and gold one last time. Hope he is back on our bench as a coach when all is said and done.

And, as someone who attended MU when Diener was there, this TBT helped me feel not that old  ;)

Why are people in a bar at all?

It's great that they're allowed to make choices for everyone.

Behavior like this is exactly why we're going to be delaying or walking back our openings.

But you know, have fun!

Maybe that was just Diener's immediate family at the bar. Those in his personal bubble?

Drinking beer and watching the game.
If we are all thinking alike, we're not thinking at all. It's OK to disagree. Just don't be disagreeable.

No kidding.  Dumb ones apparently.  Hopefully they were social distancing or were at least outside, but who knows.

I think my favorite part of seeing this tweet was reading all the former player and coach support and pride in Marquette.

Nope.  Dad was inside and giving high fives.  So there's that.

Great. And people wonder why there's not likely to be college football this fall.

Doesn't one of the Dieners own the bar? Didn't look crowded

There are hundreds of drinks on that tab.
