Thought this was interesting. Sergio Garcia playing doubles in a Professional Tennis tournament. I guess that is how he is preparing for the Masters LOL

Playing today.   The course has the raised cups.    200 yard par 3, I hit a perfect 4 hybrid that never leaves the flag.    I thought I heard a tink, my playing partner wasn't sure.    We got to the green and the dew trail indicated that my ball, lying 18 inches from the cup, had indeed hit the raised cup.     Ruling?

For the record, I wrote down a 2, on the reasoning that we don't KNOW the ball would have fallen in if the cups had been normal.

What say you?
Same hole playing today.   Made the damn ace this time with the same buddy playing with me.

Congrats, tower!

20ish for me, and I'm in the same boat. Been inside 2 feet a handful of times but never had one drop.

Never witnessed an ace.....our annual golf outting (12-24 folks) plays 72 holes in one weekend we've been doing it for 8 years now has a $20 per person hole insurance that's collected every year.

Fund is over $2K(and we've pulled from it for bus rentals, etc over the years) just waiting to cover the pour sap that gets the first one.

I have watched two aces from playing companions.   Always exciting.

Congrats Tower! I witnesses 1 and made 2. The first one was not a particularly good shot but hey, it went in! I saved the ball, scorecard and bar bill and they now hang in a shadow box in my office.

That's a great story, tower.

I've witnessed several aces, never had one of my own. But ...

I did have a hole-in-3 once.

175-yard hole over water. Tee it up, smack it with my 5-iron. Splash. Tee up another, smack it with my 5-iron, lands on the green, coupla bounces, rolls into the cup. It was an outing and the group in front of us saw it go in and roared for my hole-in-1.

But it was only a 3. Another guy in my group got a birdie, so I didn't even have honors on the next hole!

Silver lining: I didn't have to buy drinks afterward.

I was playing alone one time and hit a crap tee shot on a par 3.   Disgusted, I threw another ball down, didn't bother teeing it up, and took a seriously ticked off,  -$@&$# it swing.  Two hops, a roll,  and into the hole.   The only one I actually saw go in.

Certainly played my final round of the year today.  Played like hot trash but when I got to my final par-3 of the year, I stuck it and hit the flagstick.  Even made the putt.  Now the long winter is staring me in the face

Lee Westwood off to a fast start.   Tiger not far behind.   Throwing darts out there.

Must have been the politics.

Musta been Colin Kaepernick's, LeBron James' and Mookie Betts' fault.

Or maybe viewers heard Bubba was playing ... and they thought it was Wallace.

SkyTrak unless you’re planning on spending massive amounts.

Mevos are nice, but really need the silver dots and more room for indoor shots.

$2k already seems like a massive amount.

I was thinking something more like this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07PB1LP5Y/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_FBrTFb6FPTPKQ?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
