$2k already seems like a massive amount.

I was thinking something more like this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07PB1LP5Y/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_FBrTFb6FPTPKQ?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

Well, a Trackman is $25k so wasn't sure.

I've seen guys with those at the indoor range, always seemed decent enough.

I'll take that as a sign your feeling much better.  Excellent.

Other than stamina, I feel ok.

Not today.   Just glad to be out there.    Broke 80.    Flat 6300 yard course.    I have broken par there before.   Walked carrying.     Different expectations today.

That's awesome, my friend. Just the fact that you felt well enough to walk and carry is great.

I've got surgically repaired shoulders, so I can no longer carry, but I walk with a pull-cart whenever I can.

The fivesome in front of my son and I made a concerted effort to play fast.    To their credit, they finished in 3:15.    With 2.5 holes open in front of them by the end, but that is nit-picking.

Women's US Open.    I am watching them play in conditions similar to what I have been playing in the last few weeks.    I am amused by amount of layers.

Was thinking the same thing. Though Amy Olson has on about what I usually would for a low 40s upper 30s temp round. Though, I do Tommy Two Gloves it with the FootJoy winter gloves.
But I like to throw handfuls...

Last week some of the players were donning knee length down parkas between shots, removing them to actually swing.    Cracked me up.

I didn't watch the father-son thing on TV but I saw the highlights, and it was impossible not to be impressed with Tiger's 11-year-old son. What a swing. Made some putts, too. I mostly was impressed with his poise. To be 11 and have TV cameras following your every move, and then to be able to play like he did ... wow.

I just hope he loves golf and is allowed to be a kid.

I thought Tiger's interview after was illuminating. You could see how proud he was, but also how protective he is of Charlie. Interesting contrast to how Earl sought the spotlight out.

I did see the interview, and you're right about the way Tiger talked about the whole thing. I hope it continues.

Only a kinda similar comparison to Earl, though. Earl was pretty much a nobody whose only shot at fame was riding his son's coattails. One could argue that Earl "needed" Tiger to succeed. Tiger already is one of the most famous people in the world; he obviously doesn't need Charlie to be a great golfer, or even a golfer at all.

Watching Charlie play and Tiger's interview was a joy to watch.
