I played for a grade school team (SMM) that was in the CYO with Jesuit Middle School (where Kerry's brother Kirk was a counselor/hoops coach).
He and I struck up a friendship over the years and he'd share a ton of Kerry stories.  Little did I know I'd end up at the same college as Kerry 7 years later.
