1.   WHAT?!?!?!    A top 10 team can lose a conference road game?!?!?!?     FIRE WRIGHT!!!!
2.  No, seriously, some of you guys are idiots and cheapen the Marquette diploma.     Teams lose conference road games.   Wojo isn't getting fired.   Grow the F up.
3.   That first half is what I had been picturing as what this team would look like.
4.   A seven minute scoring drought.    And still having a lead.   Great rebounding.  Held off the inevitable run through solid team defense.
5.   This is what Wojo screams about when he pleads for more effort.   Must find a way to bring this intensity and effort on the road in conference
6.   Theo looked like THE MAN we all have been expecting this season.
7.   He is much improved, but I still flinch every time Cain does anything other than shoot the open 3, or take two dribbles with a pull up.    Every time he dribbles in space, every time he tries to feed the post.....  eewwww.
8.   I don't like Markus setting picks.  He is small, gets beat up, and picks up fouls because he isn't used to it.
9.   I was amused to hear the announcers talk about player development in Bailey, John, Sacar.     Must not read scoop.   Gillespie is another example of how players sometimes get better over time.
10.  1-1 in conference.    Held (Fi) serve at home over the #10 team on the country.   Breathe.  Like Wojo told his team with 33 seconds left.

Luke 6:45   ...A good man produces goodness from the good in his heart; an evil man produces evil out of his store of evil.   Each man speaks from his heart's abundance...

This should be #1 on your list after every game.

Assume what I say should be in teal if it doesn't pass the smell test for you.

Loved the game plan on both sides of the ball. Defensive rotations were damn near immaculate. Awesome effort and awesome job of playing physical defense without fouling.

Loved coming out with Markus on the ball. In my opinion, he has to work much, much harder to get free off the ball than he does if he's on the ball. Like Koby on the ball when he's out (as long as he's being aggressive...his misses and travels come when he's tentative), but when Markus is in he should be on the ball almost all the time.

The highs have been higher and the lows have been lower, but this is how I expected Koby's season to go. Transfers typically take the non-con season to settle into their role. By early conference play we should start seeing better play, and hopefully by mid conference play we have consistent good play from him.

Providence game starts now. Biggest game of the season.

Where are all the massive dipsh*ts?

They'll be back after the next loss.  They'd rather revel in "being right" than enjoying a fun win.

Awful half offensively no one can ever argue that. But the D never folded.

First half was a thing of beauty all around. Got to the rim, made free throws and moved the ball.

Poor 3 pt shooting day(even half 1 wasnt anything great at 3/9) but we won by 11.

Never in doubt. Great composure.

I wonder if the Villanova administration has scheduled any interviews for their next coach yet?  Obviously, Wright was shown to not belong at this level of college basketball

Great win to hold serve at home. Win at home and steal a few on the road all is good

Great win. Team played one fantastic half and one meh half, but it was enough. Still don't think Villanova will end the year a ranked team, but they were today.

Winning should not be such a relief, but after the toxicity and negativity from a number of (or possibly a few posing as many) posters this week, this is one of the more satisfying wins in the Wojo era.

This was not a must-win, but the team looked prepared and executed well in a nationally televised game that had that must-win feeling.

Wojo signaling for everyone to breathe might as well have been to our entire fan base. Enjoy our team, enjoy our program. Stop treating individual games as life and death. This is a good team.

Disagreed on Nova.  They're very young, they were on the road early in conference play.  They're very well coached, but like a lot of young teams they turned the ball over a lot on the road today.  I think they win the Big East (though in a very crowded top of the BE).

Glad to see Koby have a big game.  I am happy for the kid.

Herman Cain

Excellent win for the team. I enjoyed the game. Kids did a great job. Coaches showed faith in Koby and it paid off.

The defensive rotations were flawless. Our D was great today. Theo was great. Can't quite understand how we looked so bad at Creighton and so good today. Creighton does have talented guards, yet it was night and day how we played these last two games.

A nice 500 dollars to it orange county childrens.

Some ammo for the oWojo's to have for the rest of the year.

And let's hope Koby got rid of the demons - we'll need him.

Silent Verbal

Within the span of a week we saw MU's floor and ceiling.  Hopefully we can steal a few when we play somewhere in the middle.  Nice win today.  Nova looked overmatched on both ends.

GoldenZebra

Finally, a good win this year. Its so frustrating because a lot of us know what this team is capable of, so when a game like CU happens its even worse. Hope today can be used as a blueprint. Its fine even when Markus takes 12 threes in a game and makes a handful.

Nova let him sit in the paint most of the day.

Nova had tall guys but right now they don't do much but hang around outside. If JRE actually made it a point to try attack it woulda forced Theo to be on him a lot more.
