If I have an hbo subscription on cable so I get hbo max or is it a separate subscription?

As a Roku user this update is great to hear.

If you currently have HBO, you will automatically get HBO Max is you add the app on Roku.

And that app they said should be available tomorrow (the 17th).

Thrilled to hear that Roku finally came to terms with HBO Max. Didn't really want to change if I didn't have to.

On another note ...

Ted Lasso has grown on me. I watched the first episode with my wife and we both thought it was really stupid. A couple folks here, as well as my son, told me to give it another chance. I did, and I've liked it as the season has gone along. It's actually a very "sweet" show (for lack of better word). I'm 8 episodes in.

Based on Scoop recommendation I got my family to watch.  We ended up this past Sunday and Monday binge watching because we loved it so much.
Rolling Stone Magazine just called it one of the 10 best shows of 2020.  (Mandalorian was #1.). Called Ted Lasso, the feel good show we needed in 2020.
Stick with MU82.

Rolling Stone Magazine just called it one of the 10 breast shows of 2020.  (Mandalorian was #1.). .

Really?  Just how good are Ted's breasts?  I haven't seen it yet.
Have some patience, FFS.

Your phone autocorrected "best" to "breast"? How often are you typing breast to get that to occur?

Mrs. Reinko swears by Flight Attendant on HBO Max, which just today FINALLY secured a deal w/ Roku...they are currently running a promotion, I believe 6 months for $70...seem to be churning out a ton of new content, plus with their new Warner Bros deal, lots of theatrical releases (WW 1984, Dune, Matrix 4...)

The final episode of Flight Attendant dropped today. The first 7 episodes have been really solid. Its an entertaining show. Big Bang Theory girl is really good as the lead.

It's got great critical reviews but the users are a bit hit or miss, the ones that don't like it appear to me like they were completely clueless/ignorant to the type of show it is(More of a black comedy than some intense thriller).

Dunno if anyone saw that preview of “Get Back”, (Beatles doc) in Disney+ yet, but it looks absolutely fascinating.

The Cuba Libre Story is good if you're interested in history.

Looking forward to Pixar's Soul on Christmas Day.

Tonight my wife and three daughters started watching (re-watching?) Grey’s Anatomy. From. The. Beginning.

I’m not even sure how to process that. What are there...37 seasons?

On Apple TV the Springsteen thing was entertaining... and I've never been a Springsteen fan.

Netflix - The Queen's Gambit induced the nearest thing to a binge watch that I've ever done.  One knew how it would end quite early but it was still compelling.

84 seasons.

Reminds me of advice my first boss gave. At a party celebrating his 50th wedding anniversary, someone asked the secret to a happy marriage. His answer: "Two TVs."

He's not wrong.
