Nope, it's really airing on Lifetime.

True, but it's a "mini-movie" -- it's only 15 minutes long. So, yes...it's "really airing" but it would appear that it's a bit of a joke (and KFC publicity stunt, of course).

Of course it is, but it's more fun to just go with it.

I suppose I am really gullible, but I thought based on TAMU's response that it was an actual Lifetime movie. Honestly, it doesn't seem that different from some of their usual stuff.

Uh huh. So how do you know what their usual stuff is? :)

I'm married and have three daughters.  Sadly, I know.

Well into S2 of The Crown. Still enjoying a lot.

Just got a month of Disney+ and am rewatching S1 of Mando before getting into S2. Talked my wife into watching it this time and she likes it. Halfway through S1. Picking up lots of stuff I missed the first time. (Avoiding our Spoiler thread because I'm obviously a ways away from being caught up.)

My sister watches it all the time. Can't believe we came from the same gene pool.

Reprising AC slater and starring as Col Sanders in the same month.  2020 has been good for Mr Lopes.

To be fair, my wife and girls don't watch the Lifetime movies very often. But every year about this time we end up watching a movie or two with some secret prince who falls in love with a poor girl who gets mad when she learns the truth. You'll be happy to know it always works out in the end.

Thankfully, we watch a lot more Marquette basketball than Lifetime movies.

We were trying to find a relaxing movie a little while back, and we clicked on "Virgin River" not knowing it was a tv show. We kept watching it, and we eventually finished the first two seasons. It was good. The Vancouver scenery was nicely shot. Lots of solid music choices.

Finally got around to watching David Byrne's Utopia on HBO. It was outstanding.

Jables1604

Anybody see the Netflix documentary about Dominique Strauss-Kahn?

Worth checking out?

brewcity77

Just watched the first episode of Titans on HBOMax. Looks promising.

About 30 mins in or so, he's brilliant, a genius really.

The more things change, the more they stay the same.

Sidenote: This will absolutely lead to an increase in pirating again

I think the problem is pretty simple - there aren't enough creative people to fill all of the hours. Streaming services need new content to attract customers, but more means less - at least as far as quality.

There are still great new shows. You just have to search a little harder to find them.

Yep.

It's why I like this thread. I've gotten a lot of good recommendations here.

Mrs. Reinko swears by Flight Attendant on HBO Max, which just today FINALLY secured a deal w/ Roku...they are currently running a promotion, I believe 6 months for $70...seem to be churning out a ton of new content, plus with their new Warner Bros deal, lots of theatrical releases (WW 1984, Dune, Matrix 4...)

CreightonWarrior

If I have an hbo subscription on cable so I get hbo max or is it a separate subscription?

As a Roku user this update is great to hear.
