Just watched new HBO flick "Bad Education." Hugh Jackman in one of his best roles. Great performance by Allison Janney, too. True story about a major embezzlement at a ritzy Long Island high school.

Hot take part 2: Godfather parts 2 and 3 are very forgettable pieces of cinema. I have no idea how part 2 won Best Picture.

Godfather II is just as good as the original. 3 is trash.

I just started watching Waco. It is good so far. Lots of good actors.

Someone mentioned Schitt$ Creek and the wife and I started watching over the weekend.
I have found myself laughing out loud quite frequently especially from some of the kids lines.

Interesting that both of Eugene Levy's kids are main characters on the show.

Has anybody watched Yellowstone, the Kevin Costner show on Paramount Network?  I have the whole thing DVR'd but don't want to get involved if it isn't any good.

We finished last night. It was definitely interesting. I remember when it happened but I didn't remember (or maybe I never knew) most of the details. Interesting to have the perspectives of both a cult member and FBI negotiator -- they wrote the books the series is based on.

I won't spoil it for you by discussing it any more, but well worth watching.

What happens at the end?

Just kidding. We finished it Sunday night and I agree that it was well done.

I'll be watching it soon.  I had Janet Reno as a prof so I'm interested to see how they treat her.

Don’t make that your focal point.

She is only shown once as I remember for maybe 2 minutes and not as a decision maker.

I will never forget the day the compound went up in flames - I had jury duty that day and everyone in juror's waiting area was crowded around the TV watching it live.
Have some patience, FFS.

10,000 Maniacs were popular at that time and I just used to refer to them as 10,000 Koresh's instead.

If folks are fans of fun, but kinda dumb action movies, Extraction on Netflix is 👌🏼

So good. Everything he does is incredible, and generally the further back in history he goes, the more fascinated I am.  Its one thing to bring the Vietnam War back to life, but when he's covering the interwar period or early baseball or prohibition is when he's at his best.

I’m sure it’s been discussed here, but hadn’t watched Ozarks before the quarantine. Binge watched it over the past month and a half and just finished season three last night. Not going to lie, I was kind of hate watching it. Thought season one was solid. Thought season two was meh. Hated the second half of season three. That was some depressing stuff over the last 4 or 5 episodes.

I pretty much can’t stand any single character other than Ruth, who is awesome. “Three” is cool but is such a small character he hardly counts.
