Finished Good Omens.  I loved the premise and humor.
Started Hunters on Prime.  Only 2 episodes in but very intense.  Jordan Peele.

I don't know if this had been mentioned yet this year (need to catch up on the thread), but really like Deputy.  First episode was luke warm, but after watching three we are really into it.  Good show.

On the other hand, tried Tommy because we like Edie Falco.  Luke warm after the first episode and by the end of the third, we could not watch any longer.  Too contrived or something.

Watching Jack Taylor series on Netflix. I am a big fan of Ken Bruen and the stories are close to the books. Set in Galway with the expected Irish wit and cynicism.

My wife and I picked that up again as well.  Totally agree that it has held up well.

Cringe city..

Second season of Narcos: Mexico is fantastic as expected. Scoot McNairy is fantastic after just doing the narration for the first season and Diego Luna continues to kill it.

Morning Show on Apple+ is worth a watch. Reminds me of an Aaron Sorkin written show.

Mythic Quest as well. Went in expecting to be entertained, ended up laughing really hard multiple times.

I think I will hire porn stars to do an intro for every MU game next season.

Formula One on Netflix. Two seasons, 10 episodes, each one is like 35 minutes.

If you have a large tv and superior sound system, a must.  Camera work is incredible and for those who do not know the sport very well, it will be worth the watch to learn.

What did you think?  I thought it was profoundly depressing.  Interesting cinematography and engaging, but liked it a lot less than I expected.  Also, hilarious that such preposterous, non-legal parlays were a key plot line.

Saw it with my dad, a big movie guy, said he would have walked out of the theater, or switched it off on a plane which is where he sees tons of movies, if he was watching alone.

Stuck at home this week and we watched Jojo Rabbit and Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood.

I liked Jojo Rabbit very much (but would not recommend it to people I do not know, because I can see people not liking it at all), but cannot for the life of me understand the praise for Once Upon a Time.  Paper thin story and a two and a half hour running time.  One fun bit in the whole movie (involving Bruce Lee/Kato).  I was bored out of my mind and kept waiting for the good part.  I am in general a Quentin Tarantino fan, but when he misses the mark for me, he misses it by two miles.
Calvin:  I'm a genius.  But I'm a misunderstood genius.
Hobbes:  What's misunderstood about you?
Calvin:  Nobody thinks I'm a genius.
