It might be Brave New World, but its a private corporation-centered Brave New World.  And that is actually completely different and good.

As expected, the Fed trimmed its policy rate by 25 basis points to 4.00%-4.25%.

Are fed rate cuts inflationary? If so, isn't that a problem in a situation where cost of goods and services is already historically high?

COVID checks "caused inflation" and were deemed bad and should never happen again.

You know what would be a better way to stimulate the economy and reign in inflation? Dropping the stupid tarrifs.

We'll see if the majority of SCOTUS justices have the onions to follow the Constitution.

Good luck. The problem is that act Trump is using to justify them is very broadly written and cedes a ton of authority from Congress to the President.

If you want to stimulate the economy, and don't care about inflation, just give everyone money. It's more likely to be spent/spread if given to the bottom rather than the top

This is true, but missing the larger point that the top doesn't care about the bottom and wants all the money
