Jordan averaged 20ppg, 6rpg and 4.8apg his last year. I don't think anyone would fault wade for coming in with that stat line when he's meant to be retired.

It had a Mexican wrestling feel to it.

He is normally vacationing with his family all over Europe this time of year. But this year Gabrielle has been a judge on AGT and Wade was a guest judge. They're having their own kind of fun. Would be easier to get Novak I would think.

But if you don't work currently, is it really vacation?
Back to Thursday...
Where is Dwyane sitting?
Zenyatta has a lot....a lot... of ground to make up. She gets there from here she'd be a super horse......what's this.....Zenyatta hooked to the grandstand side....Zenyatta flying on the outside....this....is...un-belieeeeeevable!...looked impossible at the top of the stretch...

That doesn't even pay his maid service.  Why tarnish his reputation by playing?  Jordan hung on too long.

Coaching I can see.

I could see him doing it and donating his share to Boys and Girls Cubs

Jordan's first year with the Wizards, he was a leading MVP candidate 50+ games into the season -- averaging 25-6-5 for a team that was surprisingly contending for the playoffs. Then he got hurt and never got back to form, and the Wizards fell out of the race.

The following year, he was a shell of his former self. He still played in all 82 games, had games of 45, 41, 43 and 39 points, and averaged 20-6-4.

But yes, there was a circus feel to much of his time playing for Wash, especially when he returned to Chicago.

As for D-Wade ever playing in the TBT ... I'd put likelihood somewhere in 0.01% range.

Any spot where the MU faithful are meeting prior to the game?

Wow how things have changed in a year. I'm not familiar with that part of town beyond Reggie's so perhaps I'll see you at Fatpour 🍻

It's in a brand new hotel that is really nice.  I went to a rooftop party there a couple of weeks ago.

Skatastrophy

Best food in the neighborhood is Flo & Santos (pizza & pierogis). Anecdotally, Fatpour has had a string of negative reviews on the neighborhood FB page so my wife and I have avoided it so far.

If I want to continue to fit into my spiritwear, I need to start steering clear of the pizza and Pierogis.

Fatpour has 155 reviews on Google average rating of 4.2 , so I think it is a reasonably safe bet.

DoctorV

Fatpour has a really solid tv setup and is directly across from wintrust. I was there after MU v DePaul game and there were a lot of good late games on. I believe that was the night Duke came back and won after being down 25ish (to Louisville?) and I completely stopped paying attention until there was a minute left.

Service was atrocious and I didn't try the food though

As I hit the "Post" button, I thought the same thing, wades.

I'll amend it to .00000000000001% chance, allowing that he could get bitten by a radioactive insect and decide to use his superpowers to realize his dream of playing in the TBT.

Haha I was there that game too, was fun to watch. I've been there a few times now after events at the Wintrust or McCormick Place and it's the best place in the area to mingle with people after events. I feel bad for the service after the Marquette game as I don't think they were expecting so many people. Usually the service is much better than it was that night.
