I’m going to Vegas next month. I want to eat at 1 buffet only.  Which one would you recommend?

I don't know the answer because I have only been too Vegas once, but I'll bet it'd help the Vegas insiders (Glow and Chick, perhaps?) if you defined what you're looking for. Like cheesy old-school Vegas, the biggest selection, the best value, or the best food regardless of price....

If you're looking for non-buffet recommendations, Bobby Flay's Mesa Grill in Caesar's Palace is pretty good.

Where are you staying? Will you have a car? What are you looking for - value or quality?

Have some patience, FFS.

Plus, breakfast or dinner?  (IMHO lunch is fairly pedestrian)

A lot of nudie bars have buffets, so I'd find one and do one stop shopping.

Pics?

As for buffets, I understand the Pink Taco has a very nice spread

Staying at the Venetian, no car, and we would be looking for quality and  variety, and no nudie bars 😂

mandalay bay-they have separate stations for a number of different ethnic foods-american, chinese, mexican-EYE talian-a fish fry-sea food.  don't eat for the whole day, then just take the next day off ;D

if you're on a diet, chuck it cuz the desert station is un-f*#kin crazy.  when you're too full for desert after most other meals...then you see their selections.  you're gonna sleep like a baby so find a good comfy depends and hit the workout room the next day to relieve your guilt

any of the upscale casinos should be very good.  bellagio, the newly re-modeled monte carlo now referred to as mgm park.  i was at the mirage's a number of years ago and i'm sure they are still a lock as well

Strippers love it when girls come to the club.  Usually no cover either.  Value, aina.

I actually haven't been to a Strip buffet in over a decade. The experience gets old pretty quick, and they certainly aren't the bargain they used to be. But they are a quintessential Vegas experience, so newbies should always try one.

As for the meal, I recommended doing brunch, preferably one with unlimited champagne. They tend to be a much better value than dinner, and you have the rest of the day to burn off the huge meal.
Have some patience, FFS.

Not a buffet, but I had the chance recently to hit THE Steak House in Circus Circus.  The casino is a dump, but the restaurant is a gem with great steaks and cocktails.

even though everyone has the best steak house in vegas, if they blew up circus, they should leave the steak house.  it is consistently ranked as one of the best.  my other favorite is vic and anthony's in the golden nugget.

funny story-there was this pizza joint in lake havasu city that advertised as havasu's 2nd best pizza place.  so i ask him, what's with that?  he said, everyone else claims to be #1

Wynn’s brunch buffet is incredible.

Wicked Spoon in the Cosmo is normally our go-to buffet in Vegas if we are so inclined

On a serious note, I used to go to Vegas a lot for Red Flags at Nellis AFB. My go to activity on down days from flying was to head over to Red Rock Canyon for climbing.

If you are not a climber Red Rock still has incredible hiking and biking. Do yourself a favor and ditch the smoke filled casinos for time in one of the coolest places in the west.

And if you can get away for mare than a day head up to Zion and or Bryce. A couple hour drive from Vegas but some of the most beautiful landscapes in the world.

Oh god, I still have the shakes from the time we had to stay at Circus Circus when my daughter's soccer team was playing tournament in Vegas.  Awful place. (The hotel/casino, not the steak place).

Last time we were out there, there was a lot of new construction happening at that end of the Strip.  I imagine it won't be long before Circus Circus becomes a teardown.
If you think for one second that I am comparing the USA to China you have bumped your hard.
