Love the new unis we wore last night.  Could this be the return of the bumblebees, baby blue style?  Will they be banned?  Inquiring minds wish to know.

The current uniform set has always had horizontal striping.  It was just more pronounced on the championship blues last night

Absolutely. A movement should be started, something like The Three B's. Bring Back the Bumblebees

I think the shoulder straps were a bit thicker than their other uniforms. More traditional thickness, it seemed. Not sure why that struck me.

Love the more pronounced striping, and a good reminder of how much better these baby blues are than our last set. Doesn't hurt that we can win in these.

Perhaps the Evil Plan is to increase the width of the stripes a couple of millimeters at a time, so by the time the full bumblebee affect is achieved, no one with the power to ban them notices.
Have some patience, FFS.

They did look beautiful last night.  Long Live the Baby Blues!

Chick, I actually thought the same last night.

The shoulders were definitely wider than other versions.
Assume what I say should be in teal if it doesn't pass the smell test for you.

My favorite road uni which was replaced by the Bumblebees.  This is Brute Force beating Kentucky at the Wisco field house in '69.

THRILLHO

I like the design but my wife thought the lettering of the names and numbers looks a bit cheap. Is that part of the retro vibe?

I am sure it's because it's a black and white photo, but Brute looks like he is wearing a white miniskirt.

Well, it was 1969....

Think my favorite are the road unis from the early 70s I believe.

The light blue (bordering on teal) with the gold lettering and the side piping like the ones Marquette wore in the early 2010s.

I have been a fan of the Baby-Blue Unis that MU has sported throughout the years. At first sight (on TV) last night, I wasn't sold on them as I thought this years version resembled kids' pajamas. However, as the game progressed, I found myself liking them more and more.

PuertoRicanNightmare

Can anybody tell me why they don't seem to sell kids sized jerseys anymore?

Miniskirts are a good thing.

They are better than the white ones.  I think those look like old-timey underwear.

4ever bought the whole lot.  He's "selling" them out of his windowless white van.

Maybe that's why Brendan likes them.

The baby blue uniforms are definitely a new set. The old baby blue uniforms had small ventilation holes that created horizontal "stripes" while the new set worn at Butler have real stripes. The trim around the arm holes is different and the color of AL at the neck yoke is also different in the new set.

Those stripes, so hot

Maybe Dwight Shrute scooped them all up along with the Princess Unicorn dolls.

The "old" ones had real stripes too, just less pronounced.  They were perforated with ventilation holes but only in the chest area.
The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it, ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is.

Mike Deane's Seat Belt

Are they for sale anywhere yet.  Would love to add to the collection

I've asked this before... has anyone ever calculated the W/L record by uniform color?  I'm convinced that baby blue was our worst color, but the new ones look better.
