I was willing to bet a guy $100 that said there would be less than 10k. Because I knew it would be atleast 13k.

That's accurate. They do have the tarps in one of the student sections. Other is full. 200s nearly full.

Tarps are now off the student section. It's filled!

Yep, I was entirely wrong with my 10k guess.  It was 95% full.  Great crowd.

Interesting note .. A friend of mine works security at the FF .. he told me that they'd sent 20 security people home this afternoon, as the attendance estimate was 7,500 people, showed the memo to prove the figure.  Said "there were tons of tickets sold this afternoon."

I told him it sounded like a good night to storm the court.

Whoever made that estimate was dumb.  I also don't believe thousands of tickets were sold this afternoon.  Probably some miscommunication there.

Tonight is why Goose only goes to good games with great crowds. Great win, fun time and what college ball is all about.

Job well done by the fella’s.

Shocker

Well, there facts were off. As I was saying here on Thursday that it was going to be over 17k as the tickets were being sold.

Does goose refer to himself in the third person when at the good games?

Every game is a good game when the alma mater is ranked, entertaining and playing well. If I lived anywhere near Milwaukee, only a death in the family would keep me away from Fiserv this season.

But sure, games like this are especially good.

That can’t be right.  According to the Badger message boards the Wisconsin game is the only time Marquette fills the place.

I think your friend was full of it.  No way that was remotely what happened. There was a very large pre sale
