I like Duke -7.  Interesting numbers on MU game so far..

I guess if you want to win some money take MU on the money line. At east you get paid nicely if they actually pull off the upset.

Gotta take that over, don't you? You get equal money on it vs the under, Kansas has put 90+ on everybody (including Michigan State) and I doubt MU is gonna slow things way down.

Which site do you use? I'm seeing Kansas as -420, meaning you'd have to bet $84 to win $20. If you are getting even odds somewhere, I'd be betting a lot of money...

Well sure, if they win by 9 you win $20. Money line is -400. So you could bet $20 and Kansas wins by 8 or less and you lose the bet and MU loses. You're scenario would require a money line bet, which pays $5 on a $20 bet.

My next door neighbor bet me Duke would go undefeated. I expected I'd have to sweat it out more than two weeks.

I told him that I'd be happy to make the bet every year. He can just let me know which team he wants. I doubt he'll do it again next year.

No, he's just a "kid" (20 something). We just bet lunch at Shake Shack. I felt a little guilty even betting him that. But I figure if I don't teach him, someone else will.  Don't get me wrong, I'll be happy to fleece him again next year if he's up for it.

Thanks for starting the thread...always fun to compare notes and outlooks.    I'm going right back against Canisius again today as Memphis is only favored by -5 after they got blown out by Oklahoma State.   I see them easily covering by double digits.
