Bet of the day.  If we lose, you will complain the next 48 hours. If we win, you and others will be quiet if not totally absent.

Stone, cold, lock. Bet-Of-The-Day.

I'm 26-16 on the year so far. Up 27 units.

I rarely if ever bet on my teams but I think MU is good value tonight. Louisville is awful in 3 of the 4 factors defensively and very good at limiting offensive rebounds, but it is harder to protect the defensive glass with a team that shoots a lot of 3s like MU

Like this.

That one seemed too obvious and by game time it was bet down to 146.5. They still didn’t even get close to that number.  To Scoopers credit, this thread is producing almost all winners for called out best bets of the day.

Strong play!

Thanks!

I like Grand Canyon tonight -8 against LaSalle, but for a much smaller amount. Betting GCU at 1/4 of what I bet NW

Anyone have thoughts on Vikings -3 at home tonight against Green Bay? I would have thought they'd be favored by 5 or 6

I think the Vikings are better than the Packers but they are incredibly inconsistent. I'd pick Minnesota if I was forced to make a pick but I'm staying away.

I don't think either team is very good, so I wouldn't touch it.

Clemson -3 tonight.

Not a ton of faith in Clemson as they've been terrible against the spread so far. But I like them coming off a loss vs. Nebraska in their first road game.

North Texas +9 at Oklahoma...the way both teams are playing that could almost be a toss up.

Betting against Duke @ Cameron is usually a bad idea, but I have a medium sized bet on Indiana covering +15

Yeah I parlayed that, Nevada -5.5 at Loyola Chicago, MSU -5 at Louisville (the one I'm least confident in out of these games), and VT -1.5 at Penn State.

I've been staying away from larger parlays like that, but I really like each of those games so figured I'd put down a very small amount on a parlay.

Nevada -5.5 seems like free money, no?

I guess I never actually bet the sport so I don't have a track record of my own to fall back on, but that just seems way too low to me.

Of course, they'll probably lose outright now that I wrote that.

Nevada down to -4.5 in my book. Usually when the line is adjusting the "wrong" way there is something Vegas knows that we don't. But until then

Agreed.  I think Nevada wins by double digits.  But that's usually when I lose my money, when I'm most comfortable with the bet.

We covered vs. UMBC, BCU. Lost vs Indiana, PC, Louisville and Kansas.

We lost by 0.5 to both Kansas and Lousiville.

I think you could have got MU -3 vs. UL and MU +9 vs. KU at certain points. So anywhere from 2-4 to 2-2-2

I'm pretty sure I saw Marquette as +9.5 vs Kansas at certain points. So anywhere from 2-4 to 3-2-1

I do know, Newsie is right on you knowing ball.

Haha of course

And if Oregon can lose at home to a 1-4 Texas Southern that got routinely blown out for 2 straight weeks, I guess 5.5 isn't all that safe for Nevada on the road!
