Howard has 5-6 turnovers. How is that not a problem?

It's a huge problem

I do know, Newsie is right on you knowing ball.

Not across the board on expectations.

whitykj

The fact that Wojo thought Markus should play the point when he's not a strong ball handeler, not a good off the dribble shooter, and a turnover machine, makes me seriously question his coaching ability

muguru

If the Wojo supporters aren't fed up after this performance(win or lose), what exactly will it take?? You all ought to be ashamed of yourselves.

Hopefully the 3 from Chartouny does a lot for his confidence.

Make your argument. What stats can you provide to back it up?

I have two eyes and a general understanding of what good defensive basketball should look like.  We don't play defense.  Not sure what a statistic is for wide-open looks is but there have been many.

Got to give him until year 8.

Here we go, JC stepping it up.

The team looks so much better with JC at point it's not even close.

Shouldn't be surprised. He played Cheatham at point over Carter.

So you have nothing.

There were very few wide open looks in the first half for PC. They converted most of the ones they got. Defense has been atrocious in the second half.

If JC can carry this over and gain confidence, we will be fine.  Big step up for him in the second half.

Only an idiot would have feared a loss today, even trailing by six in second half. The angst is over a horrible performance.

He just needs to ignore Wojo and play his game.  Against UMBC, he took a wide open three and missed horribly.  Wojo yanked him immediately and yelled at him.  I think he has been playing scared since then.

How's that Alabama Citadel game going?  Please don't bring your silly analogies here.

Reeks of desperation to try to equate a National Championship Alabama football team coached by Saban, being off to a slow start to an MU basketball team under Wojo.

Going exactly how I said it would. Alabama would win the second half and Marquette would do the same.

Glad to see we are actually running an offense now.

Do you mean Cheatham over Duane? I don't think Cheatham played PG much when Carter was here.

Huh, Bethune-Cookman is up 5 on Miami in the 1st half.

DJO's Jaw

Really really big for JC's confidence for him to hit those two 3's. That could be really important for helping us to improve on offense.
