How’s that Alabama Citadel game going?  Please don’t bring your silly analogies here.

Reeks of desperation to try to equate a National Championship Alabama football team coached by Saban, being off to a slow start to an MU basketball team under Wojo.

Well, the last 3 possessions sure were awful. Maybe there is my answer.

They are playing one of the worst teams in the country.

We dont know that yet. But specifically I'm talking about on ball, rotations, etc. What is bad?

Yes I'm now concerned

I blame this $&@" on all of you.  To my own detriment, I do no independent research on college basketball in my free time, so my confidence level in MUs team potential is born from the general consensus of this board. You all suck

For someone who thinks the defense has been bad today, can you explain what's wrong with it? I'm at the game and sure we've had some breakdowns leading to open shots but I've thought the majority of possessions have been good. Maybe I'm missing something.

Doubling teaming and no switching quick enough leading to open shots. Just happened with Cain and Morrow, with Bardo calling it on the players.

MU has 15 turnovers, PU has 6.  Defense, not good.

If they lose, he should be after the game.

The d has been real bad in the second half

I'm not kidding. Part of that is how bad we were against Indiana. But we are tied because we can't hit the broadside of a barn right now. I'd need to go back and count to be sure, but I'm pretty sure on wide open jumpers:

Cain: 0/4
Joey: 0/1
Sam: 0/2
Bailey: 0/1
Anim: 0/1
Ed: 0/1

On Bunnies:
Ed: 0/2
Joey: 0/2
Sacar: 1/3

Those were all good shots as the result of good offense. Defensively, we've held them to 34% shooting. I saw three defensive breakdowns leading to threes and one bad transition d leading to another three. Their 5 2pt FGs have all been contested, three of them very long range 2P FGs.

This is a dreadful shooting performance. Everything else has looked solid. We have even a bad shooting night and we're winning by double digits.

Howard has 5-6 turnovers. How is that not a problem?

False.

Make your argument. What stats can you provide to back it up?

I’m afraid of what Kansas and LU or Tenn will do to this team.  MU looks unatheltic as all get out.  Really slow.

We've attempted more 3 pointers than 2 pointers.  Design some plays and take the ball to the f-ing rack.  This is pathetic.

If there are stats that can portray this defensive performance in a positive light the categories are obviously worthless misleading stats and should be stricken from the statistical universe
