People will say "x was my favorite age".  I had only one, a now 18yr old daughter.

I can honestly say, every age was my favorite. She's an awesome kid and wasn't difficult.  Potty training was interesting, but other than that, she was a dream to raise.

Hope you have a similar experience Brew!

It's weird.  Every 3 years feels like 100.  And then they go off to college and you think 'That was fast. But now I'm effin' old.'

My experience was that some days lasted forever but the years flew by.

I always broke it into segments.

Birth to school-age: took forever

Elementary school: normal time

Middle and high school: time warp.
This is accurate.  I look at photos of when my daughter's (20 & 17) were little and it seems like forever ago.  I think about them in middle school and it seems like a year ago.

We have 9, 7 & 5 right now and I'm convinced this is the best time.

They're like three little roommates. I cynically say we're between diapers & drugs.  They're all grown enough to be independent but innocent enough that real world problems like drugs etc aren't a concern.

I'm looking forward to middle school, HS etc but I'm also realistic of the issues those present.  As my Mom likes to say: bigger kids, bigger problems.

Our daughter was born at 4:47 am. She was stubborn coming out, but finally greeted the world. My wife hasn't settled on a name yet. We have a narrowed list, we'll see what she decides on.

Aside to tower...that felt just like a busy night at work. Got two hours of sleep, got up for an hour of pushing, another 20 minutes of sleep, back up for an hour, slept a third time, then up from about 1 am on.

Just another Sunday night.     Congratulations.    Enjoy the journey.

I am voting for Carolyn Allazia if it's a girl.

In all seriousness, please tell Mrs. Brew congratulations on a job well done.

Have some patience, FFS.

Let's face it.  Mrs. Brew did all the work. Brew was only there for the fun part.
