Agree 100%

Wojo can learn from this:  One uber talented undersized guard, surrounded by length and athleticism (playing zone), can be a winning formula.  Playing two, uber talented (shot happy), undersized guards, man to man, is NOT a winning formula.

Godspeed to Markus and that he comes back 100% sooner than later.  But, think if he can get back yet this year, we need to go with the unconventional approach of putting our leading scorer on the bench and into 6th man role.  Rowsey is senior, better ball handler, and deserves the opportunity to lead this team from here on out.

I'm starting to get convinced that this is the correct approach. Rowsey had a terrific second half and way better handle than Markus. That's what he needs to be working on this summer.

True.  So, perhaps not totally cause and effect as to why Sacar had a big game being correlated to Markus going out.

Don't want any of this to come off negative against Markus - he's a great talent, and kid.  An absolute asset.  It's just that it is fools gold to essentially have two clones of each other playing together simultaneously.

Yep

I would take the Rick SLU program right now.

My variation on this would be to keep the starting lineup the same, but sub in Elliot relatively quickly and rotate from there so that Howard and Rowsey would not be in together that much. That produces the same result without the drama and appearance of looking like you're demoting someone. With the thin roster it's pretty hard to completely eliminate having Howard and Rowsey in together for a least a few minutes.

More than half of Savages points were before Markus was hurt. Don't necessarily disagree with the take tho.

Either Sacar has a nickname I hadn't heard before, or your autocorrect feature is racist.
Have some patience, FFS.
