I think he should go for a little Sidney Sweeney action.....She was sitting right behind him on the Knicks bench....Now that would be how you leverage a "championship".....

He DID contribute to the championship season. At one point, after a real good game back when he was getting lots of PT, Brunson said, "Thank God for Tyler Kolek."

Absolutely. Once they traded for Alvarado his playing time fell off a cliff, but he was a contributor on an NBA champion.

He'll never play in the NBA
It's only a few pennies

Listening to national sports radio this past week, I heard two Knicks fans call for TK to get some playing time. Kind of random, but I think it is indicative of the NY fans.

Billy Hoyle

congrats to TK. Playing time or not, he is a champion.

Looks like the monetary payout for the Knick players is $800K, plus I am sure a nice looking ring and memories for a lifetime.

On interesting side note, the last time the Knicks won in 1973, they also had a Marquette guard on their roster, Dean Meminger.  He actually played minutes, backing up Frazier, Monroe and Barnett.

It's a long season and Kolek more than did his part during the doldrum portion of the season.

The Knicks will lose some bench players this off season, but Kolek is a cheap contract so he has a chance to grow his role.
When we stop talking, really bad stuff happens.

Dean the Dream was an outstanding defensive player and a real spark plug for the Knicks. He was one of my faves long before I ever knew I'd be going to Marquette.
