Most likely, but I could see him on a bench as a poor man's Lou Williams too. 15 MPG and in for his scoring, hoping he gets hot.

He entered the NBA as a pass-first PG with a questionable shot, so I'm not seeing that.

Actually LOVE this comp.  He's got a bit better size than Lou Will, but smooth streaky scorers who aren't prototypical 2G height, but can score at every level

Yahoo Sports has Kam going in the second round, #43 overall to OKC.

Jones offers crafty combo guard skills with advanced shot creation and a blossoming playmaking feel. But his so-so athleticism and streaky shooting paint him as just a cog rather than the rare star upperclassmen set to enter the league.

Butler goes for 38 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists, 3 steals as Golden State sneaks past Memphis in a play-in win that puts the Warriors in the playoffs.

Butler unlocks another part of his game. More than just Playoff Jimmy, now we get Play-in Jimmy. That man is aging like fine wine.

That ageing will take a hit if he has a sacral fracture. MRI coming.

Knicks choking. Even the commentators are talking about how bad they look. Imagine if they had a facilitator that wouldn't turn the ball over and we get the ball to the right people inthe right places. They should totally try to draft someone like that.

Heard he was the alpha that the Warriors were always missing.  Could carry that franchise to the elusive title, unlike KD.

Most teams lose in the playoffs when their best player goes down with injury. Steph was always their best player. Don't think anyone thought Jimmy was gonna be the alpha over Steph.

I did think that Jimmy was a great pickup for them, giving them a great chance at another title. They were cooking when healthy. But Steph goes down and now we'll never know.

The Marquette connection with JJJ's uncle.

I think he will be a combo guard - mostly off the ball. He is exactly the same height as guys like Bradley Beal, Jordan Clarkson, and Victor Oladipo who mostly played the '2'. An inch taller than Marcus Smart. I also think Kam's strength is underrated and he will be physical enough to play with NBA '2' guards.

But in the end, his future in the league will depend on making shots and he has clearly shown he is a better shooter playing off the ball - much better at catch-and-shoot than shooting off the dribble.

If he can't play point he won't be in the NBA long. He isn't athletic enough to be off the ball.

That is why Sam never made it on an NBA roster.

But just in case your eyes are bothering you today, I specifically said 'combo guard'.
