Watch the end of the game. They reviewed Jimmy’s shot to make sure it was a 3point attempt. Fine if you want to correct the clock, but there’s no possible way it was more than 2.5 left. That was the exact moment he got fouled.

The clock didn’t run off a couple secs. It stopped at 2.1.

They reset it to 3.0.

The ball left White’s hand with less than .1 on the winning putback.

Neat seeing the international recognition with Neymar celebrating his bro Jimmy

Never would have thought I'd see Jamal Cain with Jimmy, Alonzo Mourning, Spo, and Love on his way to the NBA Finals in his first year in the league. Wild ride for the young man!

For those who didn't listen, in addition to adding fuel to that fire, Stevie showed that perhaps coaching isn't in his future. He was asked, "Start, Bench, or Cut" about Jimmy, Wes, and Jay. His answer:

Start Wes
Bench Jae
Cut Jimmy

Kind of an rough question to ask a college kid about famous alum of his program.

Kam Jones appearing on mock draft:

Ahead of Bronny.

And also ahead of Oso and Kolek, who didn't make the cut of this mock.

The guys running that podcast are just kids themselves, but agreed that it was an unfair question for a college player.

If you are going with what they were in their time at Marquette you probably flip Jae and Wes, but it's debatable.  He also clarified that it was because Wes and Jae have shown the program love while Jimmy has not.  The hosts said they need to get Jimmy to a game and Stevie noted that Wade has been very involved, so he'd go right to the top if he was included.

Stevie is from PA. I'd imagine he is or was a 76ers fan. They have envy towards Jimmy for leaving and taking Miami to the Finals twice.  Could be why.

He literally spelled it out. He said it’s because Wes and Jae have shown them love and been back to MU while Jimmy has not.

Can someone who's more aware than me go into detail on why there's this supposed MU-Jimmy feud? Or is it simply confirmation bias.
Is it just because Buzz isn't there anymore?  You know...because HE chose to leave and then publicly trash the school that gave him his shot.
Because we don't recruit JUCO's anymore?

What am I missing here?

Yeah. And if someone does decide to answer him, I hope they'll address the Warriors/Golden Eagles name change and restoring football while they're at it.

It wasn't intended as a shot at you, onepost. It's just kind of funny when people pop in and ask question about things that have been discussed ad nauseum recently. I don't fault you or others for not having read it. My post came off as more mean-spirited than intended.

There's plenty of discussion here. You could also scroll back a couple months in this thread - it's raised on 4/16 and comes up again a week later (and even then the tone is already sarcastic because it had been hashed and rehashed).  A word of advice for you if you start digging into this: don't expect to find many answers.

Thanks SAW.  Outside of recruiting threads, I basically spend no time in the offseason on here.

If you are going with what they were in their time at Marquette you probably flip Jae and Wes, but it's debatable.

Jae was POY in the Big East and led us to a Big East Championship. Wes had a solid though unspectacular college career and went undrafted. Not really debatable.
