There are some major rumblings going on about the Bucks and Jimmy Butler.

That would be pretty awesome to have him back close to the program. He's a great guy for this group to model their game after (on the court that is).

Seems more like he's just going to continue with the Heat.

Not sure a veteran, old team really needs an always disgruntled vet to model their game after, but sure.

Jimmy'd be more likely to stop by the Klotche than the Al.

It'd actually be pretty hilarious to see Jimmy be coached by an alum, in the city he crapped on, near his Alma matter he pretends he didn't go to that supplies a ton of fans.

And I wouldn't count on him suddenly embracing MU unless Bucks management told him it is necessary for some PR reason.
Retire Terry Rand's jersey!

How did he crap on Milwaukee?

57 points in a game against the Bucks and eliminating them in MKE.

One of the games against MKE he was on a hot mic yelling get me out of this city, Tyler Junior college for life! Pretty sure he used an adjective before city, might be misremembering.

What in Jimmy's history makes you believe that the way to get him to do something is to have "management" tell him he needs to?

Jimmy plays a character, and his favorite is playing the heel.

Also, a bit ago I was joking that Jimmy would end up in Milwaukee... Honestly, I'm 100% for it.  Even if it breaks up the team a bit it might put that dog in GA.

Ok. I guess I'm not that sensitive about it.

Bucks were interested when he wanted out of Minnesota and Giannis said no. Why would he want an older more disruptive Butler now.

Didn't he say "no" cause it would have cost them Khris?

Regardless, if he thinks he is the key to a championship...

Yes but I would think they would still have to move him.

It would have been the right move then, as it would be now.

I think Giannis' biggest weakness is his loyalty to his friends, when winning championships is a business.

I'm not sure it was the wrong move. They won a Championship and Khris has had some great playoff performances. Plus, who knows how long Jimmy would have stayed with the Bucks.

With injuries and having already won a championship, Giannis might be more willing to let the Bucks trade Khris. I saw a post saying Middleton's house is for sale, but might mean nothing.

Giannis isn't from around here.

Yeah it is hard to say it was the wrong move. The Bucks won a title and Jimmy hasn't.

If Middleton's house is up for sale it could just mean that he is going to opt-out.

Yeah, I agree, it is hard to say it, but I will continue to believe that JB has been a better player over the last five years than Khris.  Would that have guaranteed championship?  Certainly not.

I won't disagree that Jimmy has been a better player in that span. Especially with all of Khris' injuries. But yeah, I'm not sure he'd be a better fit at the time for what the Bucks need.

MUfan12

You have to look at when that was, as well. Even though they broke through and got the 2021 title, the 2019 and 2020 versions of the Bucks were probably the peak of this window. Especially before the COVID shutdown, they were a wagon. It would have been silly to break that group up.

PGsHeroes32

Jimmy to the Bucks would screw MU and the BE
Lazar picking up where the BIG 3 left off....

Oso's playing time is probably going to be decreased now that the Suns have acquired Nick Richards from the Hornets. Richards is no star, but he is a defense-minded 7-footer who can block shots and who runs the court well.
