I didn't understand the miss...math tells us to do that?

I wasn't sure about that either.  With less than a second?  Sure.  But nearly two seconds could have gotten a makable shot had they secured the rebound.

That was the wrong decision as was Budenholzer challenging the play where Tucker was pushed going out of bounds.

Put in the NBA thread too, but per Shams the Bucks are working on a trade for Jae Crowder. Would be a great 3-and-D fit in Milwaukee.

I think both teams were out of timeouts

Grayson Allen for Crowder would be a huge upgrade for the Bucks.  Better D, Better size, better shooting, playoff experience, and smart enough to get away from the dumpster fire that is Phoenix.

Jamal Cain may get some run in the Heat v Raptors game tonight. Both of the guys ahead of him at the 4 were suspended for a game, and the Heat aren't very deep at the 4 or 5.

Well this aged well. Popped in a social media feed reminding me of 5 years ago:  :o

Stan Van Gundy said Pistons forward Henry Ellenson has earned a right to play because no one works harder.

"He's just gonna keep getting better and better,” Van Gundy said of the Marquette product.  ;D

Also 5 years ago, Kyrie saying he could tell within 3 steps that the MECCA court wasn't safe/wasn't what the NBA normally plays on...even though the court was made that year and wasn't the court the Bucks were playing on in the 70s.

Kyrie says lots of things -- including that the earth is flat, that life-saving vaccines are poison, and that the CIA hired "Jamaicans" to kill Bob Marley.

He needs to play, so this is good for Jamal.

Had a nice opportunity to practice with The Heat . G League season will start soon and he should get plenty of reps.

"We're gonna win the f%ckin' championship."

-- Jimmy Butler, when asked about the Heat's cold start.

What is it about Marquette players, both current and past, that makes 'em such effen potty mouths?

They're closer to a play in team than a real contender.

I think they have a decent 3 with Jimmy, Tyler, and Bam. Why they gave Robinson all that $$, I have no idea. Lowry is a waste of $$ as well.

Lowry at least had a good all-around skill set, and a history of being both a leader and a gamer. I couldn't believe they threw all that money at Robinson, and said so at the time. The guy has a good few months in a bubble at one (and only one) skill, and the great Pat Riley commits a king's ransom to him over the long-term.

JFB closed out the champs last night. I will never not be amazed by the leap he took in his career.
