/// Rahm Emanuel lost part of his right middle finger as a 17-year-old high school student while cleaning a roast beef slicer at an Arby's restaurant where he worked. The wound became severely infected after trapping a piece of meat.  He developed severe blood infections, bone infections, gangrene, and a high fever. He spent weeks hospitalized and required a partial amputation of the finger to save his life.

I think that makes him the patron saint of MUScoop.

The real point here is: Did Arby's continue to use that meat slicer begore it was fixes and appropriately sanitized? One wonders.
I thought you were dead. Willie lives rent free in Reekers mind. Rick Pitino: "You can either complain or adapt."

The campus looked lovely yesterday.   I get what they are trying to do on the south side of Lalumiere.  I like wildflower gardens, but they may have gone too far hands off.   All of the positive energy of move in day.
The 4 pillars of Stoicism were courage, temperance, justice, and wisdom.
I get that.   Throw in some Jesus and bad jokes...

I missed you by a 2 days.  I was in Milwaukee for customer visits and made my Real Chili lunch visit on Thursday then a short walk around campus as that was all my schedule allowed.  Campus looked very good.  Freshman walking around for orientation and parking was actually free in the garage.

That reminds me of the guy that worked in the pickle factory. He worked there for years and the monotony made him have thoughts. He developed an urge to put his penis in the pickle slicer. He told his wife about this and she derided him.

He continued to have this thought, and wanted to put his penis in the pickle slicer. He told his wife he was having trouble putting this thought out of his mind.

One night he came home white as a sheet. His wife knew something was wrong and she asked what had happened. He replied that he had indeed succumbed to his obsession and had put his penis in the pickle slicer.

"Oh, my God" said the wife, "what happened then??"
"I got fired" he said, "and so did she."
