Thanks, but as I thought, no clips with the bat and Cooley covering his head etc. Was 2 or 3 times that play was stopped?

Pet peeve of the day: People who say "where are you at?" instead of "where are you?"

What do they get from the at that isn't already conveyed by "where are you?"

Reminds me of the graduation card I gave to chick jr.  It had two girls in caps and gowns on the front.

"Where's the graduation party at?"
"Don't end a sentence with a preposition!"

"Okay, where's the graduation party at, BITCH!"
Have some patience, FFS.

We recently bought a coffee-maker with an insulated stainless pot instead of a glass pot and a heating plate. I keep thinking, "what took us so long." I love this thing. I'm working from home this week and I can just bring the whole pot into my office and it stays hot for hours.

Those stainless pots are great, but you really need to tip many of them at a steep angle to pour the coffee. I am currently using a Cuisanart for drip coffee, but thinking of upgrading to a Moccamaster. They get great reviews and are supposedly built like tanks.

Anyone here tried one?

I have a moccamaster.  It's expensive and makes about the same cup of coffee as my previous maker.  The biggest change for me in coffee quality was using a capresso grinder to get the right grind and using filtered water.

Still have to clean the moccamaster, and the glass carafe is the one that I have... the glass feels like it is about a millimeter thick and I'm always worried about bumping it into anything and it shattering.

Thanks. If I got a Moccamaster, I would likely get the stainless pot, but still it wouldn’t be worth it if it doesn’t improve the coffee quality. I am also looking at the Oxo 8 cup brewer, which gets good reviews and is half the cost of the Moccamaster.

I already have a high-end (Mazzer) grinder, so grind quality would not be an issue with either.

Both brewers are certified to brew at proper temperatures by the Specialty Coffee Association of America. With that certification, plus fresh, properly ground beans, the rest may just be aesthetics, hey?

Eh, it looks fine.  I also don't love all the plastic on the thing.

Meathead brawl at Golden Corral...

We can do better Scoopers over the new Arby's Smoked Brisket. I suggest a Glendale Arby's annexing by Whitefish Bay by Topper's "little green men".

Tuna melt is one of my favorite sandwiches.

Especially if you can get it on marble Rye with some grilled onions.
