I think they've failed to learn the lesson of the Infinity Saga. If you want to build that big event movie, you have to earn it. DC made the same mistake by rushing to Justice League.

IW/Endgame were massive successes because they used Iron Man, Thor, Hulk, & Cap to build to Avengers, then used Avengers, Dark World, GotG, & Ultron to build to the Infinity movies.

Since then, we have properties like Shang Chi, Eternals, Loki, GotG, and Deadpool that barely link to anything else. There are some loose Black Widow/Cap/Thunderbolts, Spidey/Dr Strange, and Marvels connections, but none of those mini-properties connect to each other. Frankly, they haven't earned the right to do an Endgame level movie again.

I actually like many of the new properties (Shang Chi, Ms Marvel, Loki, GotG3, Hawkeye, Far From Home are among the best stuff in the MCU) but they don't feel like a shared universe yet.

I'd rather see a New Avengers, maybe against a returned Red Skull or Dormammu, and build up to Doom/Secret Wars over the next 4-6 years, with a couple team up movies in between that build the story and earn back fan trust.

This just feels like something pre-Gunn DC would do.

I don't disagree, and I'm certainly not carrying water for Mickey Mouse here, but I view it as; yes lazy, yes driven by $$$, but I'd rather give the reigns to Russo and RDJ to get this thing right, and actually reset things (with fingers crossed some great buzz around the new Cap, Thunderbolts, and F4 the next 2 years to get there.

Did you see the test footage from hall H for F4?  LOOKS AWESOME, Pedro is gonna crush Reed Richards

Hard to blame RDJ for returning

Doesn't help the desperation claims tho

The Kang Dynasty is officially dead.

D&W was highly entertaining and I loved the more than extended and unexpected cameos.

Once the snowflakes catch wind of the reveal at the end of the latest Agatha All Along, look for the usual suspects to start boycotting Disney again

Sad to report, the MCU is still in the total ASS phase

BnW was equal parts bad and unnecessary.
