Wow, Duane Wilson tweaking Hayes on twitter for comparing his clutch spin move to Jordan.

There are a lot of athletes in this Zag/NW game

nyg

Ouch, NW making comeback, down five.  Collins goes ballistic and get teed up, two free throws made.  Now down eight

CBS killing the game with crowd shots, especially some whiney kid and Ms. Dreyfus........

To be fair, he was right about the blown call.

Yup, second missed goaltending of the game. BS flagrant call on Benson earlier, Zags flopping all over the place.

nyg

Making fun?  Not really,  just want to watch the game, not some kid's constant silly reactions.

Was the "BS" flagrant for the elbow to the head on the screen, or was there a different one I missed? Because that elbow was a clear flagrant.

Dunno, haven't watched the game since 15 minutes left in the first half. My twitter feed just blew up when it happened though.

Wait, so you're basing your opinions of the officiating on the angry tweets of fans? I don't think you're going to get an objective look that way.

On the flagrant, the defender was slipping under the screen, so he got wider by throwing his elbow out at head level. Pretty clear.

They were showing him so much I assumed that it was Collins's kid.

Yes, now the kids viral all over internet.

Back to games, who would ever think X would beat Maryland and blow out Fl. State.  Good for them.

GGGG

I thought showing the crying kid multiple times was really of poor taste by CBS.

While actually pretty hilarious, I agree.

I feel that kids emotions. I don't quite get to tears, but my reactions to an MU game in the tourney wouldn't be too different! lol

Me.  Although I thought today would be over FGCU.  That was an incredible draw for them, as was Butler's.

Really impressed with Macura's ability to run the offense lately. You can tell he's not a natural PG, but he's picked up a lot of the slack from Sumner's injury.

Seton Hall lost to Arkansas on a similar play that was deemed a flagrant 1..That gets called, but this one doesn't.

1. So you're saying a call that pretty much every one agrees was a terrible call should be some kind of precedent ?

2.  That call didn't cost SH the game--- they managed to lose it all on their own.

The point is when the head of officials has to come out and tell the country on national TV why the call was correct, making a big deal of it, it's a terrible and inconsistent look when the exact same thing happens less than 24 hours later and the call made is there exact opposite of what the head of officials just said.

So yeah, they set a precedent, the head of officials went out of his way to explain why that precedent was correct, and it took them less than a day to go against the precedent.

Well, if he said that, the head of officials is an idiot and hopefully no one will pay attention to him.
