It like the Iowa state of womens basketball. Brooklyn want bad either. They shortened her name on the site, didn't recognize her at first.

Lets not get carried away here.  Terri's 15 year track record of mediocrity did her in, not Tyler Summitt.

This isn't Ashley Santos.

Santos isn't the one in the relationship with Summitt. It's Brooke Pumroy, also transferred from Marquette to La Tech.

Maybe hiring a 24 year old to be your head coach isn't the best idea after all.

He could probably get a gig on the men's side. I can't see him coaching in the women's game again.

Agreed, but still not sure that is the primary reason she is no longer at Marquette.

I believe she was at the end of her contract, and she was being paid incredibly well for very mediocre results.

Yes. Now it might have been a completely legitimate decision to part ways when her success declined but that's a separate issue.

Terri was awesome. I was at the annex one day and I was wearing a northwestern football jersey and they were playing Minnesota that day. She happened to have some recruits visiting from Minnesota and talked to me for a good 15 minutes.

So did the recruits end up signing with Minnesota?

I don't think so. The next year they had like 3 freshman from Minnesota so I assume that was them.

I don't think infidelity has anything to do with God or faith in Him. That one is entirely on man. And last I checked, Catholics, Protestants, Jews, Hindus, and atheists were dropping trow at an alarming rate.

Well at least at Louisville, they'd know that he'd never allow gigolos around the team.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

Tyler back in the news.

He apparently married Brooke Pumroy, his former player at MU and La Tech.  She took a job as the girl's basketball coach at her old high school and named him as an assistant.

So by the time this guy was 25, he had been married, was a D-1 basketball assistant coach and then a head coach, had an affair with one of his players, got that player pregnant, resigned from his head coaching job and then got divorced?

I’m not even mad. That’s amazing.

Understandably there was a lot of buzz about this news.  Fairborn school officials say it was a miscommunication and Tyler Summitt has not been approved as an assistant coach:

Maureen Hegarty's dad was the dude who invented the Lava Lamp. His company was called Lava Simplex.

I always asked her if I could get a summer job as a Quality Control guy on the Lava Lamp production line.

British inventor -- and nudism devotee -- Edwin Craven Walker is credited with developing the design.

So Mo's dad bought the rights to the Lava Lamp.

What I want to know is why did the writer highlight the fact that the inventor of the Lava Lamp is also a "Nudism Devotee?"
