Atmospheric levels of carbon registered 415 parts per million over the weekend at one of the world's key measuring stations, a concentration level researchers say has not existed in more than 3 million years – before the dawn of human history.

"The birthrate is a barometer of despair," Myers says in response to the CDC data. Explaining that idea, he says young people won't make plans to have babies unless they're optimistic about the future.

Motorcycle doom

I have driven past two deaths this year already.  It is crazy on the freeways here with motorcycles.

More like they are stuck on their damn phones, don’t know how to have a conversation with people, and all the accessible porn without the baggage is probably good enough for some of the dudes.   :o

Maybe birth control has just gotten more reliable.

Or less sex by young people in general.  Can’t have kids if you they aren’t doing the deed.

Yeah, I’m sure the turkey baster is definitely on the upswing, but dudes and chicks ain’t doing as much as they used to.  Becoming absolutely critical in Japan.  Not doing means not having kids as much, by accident or planned.

Cheeks is right, the amount teen sex has been going down steadily for generations. The Greatest Generation were the horniest motherfers and it's been downhill from there despite all the handwringing about children getting sexualized at younger ages. Honestly, I think it is a good thing. Overpopulation is the biggest doom out there

FIFY

I am pretty sure there were a lot more Greatest Generation members who were virgins when they got married than there are today.

I'd have to go back and check the data but I believe this is a common misconception. Basically we've been getting less horny every generation
