I am sorry to hear that masked police officers looked at the color of your skin and listened to your accent, then threw you to the ground without even asking you any questions, handcuffed you, threw you into an unmarked van, drove you to a detention center, threw you into a cell, booked you, denied you a phone call, and held you for hours (if not days) without due process.

That must have been very traumatic for you.
