Everytime you speak, I thank God that we finally got rid of leaded gasoline.

Unfortunately it was to late for many of you older people.

You are mean.  You need to get back on your leash.

Atilla The Hun was a warrior. Did you take life advice from him? Alex Jones and Glenn Beck think of themselves as warriors.

Quote from: #UnleashSean on October 01, 2025, 03:35:31 PMOh and while we're at it, could one of yall explain why the government shutdown?

With the GOP in control of the entire government, the only little bit of leverage the Dems have is that 60 votes are needed to get anything through the Senate. So that means the GOP needs to convince 7 Dem senators to side with them.

The Dems are trying to use that little bit of leverage to make sure as many Americans as possible have access to good, affordable health care. Some nerve!

Meanwhile, the Republican congresspeople and president are saying if they don't get their way, they will fire hundreds of thousands of federal employees, thereby hurting American families financially. How noble!

Seriously. Some things in the Bible aren't specifically mentioned or are vague,  so I can understand how some can twist themselves into believing certain hateful stances are biblically justified.

But Jesus was pretty explicit about welcoming foreigners and aliens. Didn't really leave much to interpretation

Not really accurate and not really a warrior quality.

I don't think that's true.  I'm an evangelical Christian and I'm pretty sure Jesus hated foreigners and aliens and really hated poor people.

Quote from: MU82 on September 24, 2025, 06:40:54 PMFrom the WSJ:

Peter Thiel, the billionaire investor in data, AI, defense and weapons development technology companies, wants everyone to think more about the end of the world.

For about a year now, Thiel has been publicly laying out his understanding of biblical prophecies and the potential for the rapid advance of technology to bring about an apocalyptic future.

In a lecture Monday, he encouraged an audience to continue working toward scientific progress, whether in artificial intelligence or other forms of technology. Fearing or regulating it, or opposing technological progress, would hasten the coming of the Antichrist, Thiel said, according to people who attended.

A devout Christian, Thiel is expanding on a number of speeches and public interviews he has given about the Antichrist in a closed, four-part lecture series this month in San Francisco. The second lecture happened on Monday, and the series will end in early October.

It's at the same time funny and sad to watch supposed Christians twist themselves into pretzels to push their hate-filled narrative on this subject.

Unk excepted, of course.
