The Equalizer

Finally, the player to be named later in the Magic Dawson trade.

Maybe, but Hamilton is the "Human Highlight Film" all by himself.

Tha Hound

Quote from: swoopem on August 27, 2026, 01:32:05 PMI think this is exactly what they're looking for. Probably even less

Yeah, I'm taking the under on that given he plays the same position as our best player. 10 seems about right, though.

Vander Blue Man Group

Quote from: BM1090 on August 27, 2026, 01:11:07 PMI like the look of his game, nice looking jump shot, good and willing passer.

But I can't see it. 5'10. He has only shot over 41% from the field once in four years at a significantly lower level. Feels like a 15 MPG guy to me. I can't see them playing two guys under 6'0 together for more than a few minues, so he's basically going to be Nigel's backup.

I really like the signing. We need a backup PG and some guard depth.

Ok.

Ok.

I think what he meant was( correct me if I'm wrong ) he doesn't see him as a 6th man and playing lots of minutes along side Nigel.

Time will tell but he can like the signing as a back up to Nigel and not see it being much more than that.

TAMU, Knower of Ball

This is my take as well. I don't see Porter and NJ playing a lot of minutes together and I don't see NJ playing less than 30 minutes a game.

Shaka likes having two ball handlers on the floor at a time. Most of the time it will be NJ/Nolan. This lets NJ come out and still have 2 ball handlers.

TAMU

I do know, Newsie is right on you knowing ball.

Shaka Shart

I think he was signed to bring some morality and ethics to the team instilled in him from his former institution

Ok.

I can't see him being our 6th man. I like the signing and I think he'll contribute and he makes the team deeper and better.

Those things aren't mutually exclusive
