Quote from: onepost on May 18, 2025, 12:04:19 PMThere are whispers that Adam Boyd could be the next commit. Just in talking to a couple people here and elsewhere.

Shaka still needs to make his left handed quota for 2026, so it checks out.

Quote from: Aircraftcarrier on May 18, 2025, 03:03:03 PMThe 2027 class in Wisconsin is very good. I will take Jack Kohnen over any of the others. That kid can play and does a lot of things well. Also can Marquette land one of Jaxson Davis, Devin Cleveland and Davion Thompson.

Kohnen, Donovan Davis and one of those Chicago PGs would be a perfect class.

It's pretty early to declare what a "perfect" 2027 class would look like.

How about another seven footer?

The guys Marquette is recruiting should each grow another 6-7"

Dooney and Davis are way better than Kohnen. But yes Kohnen is good.

I respect your opinion but way better? I don't think so.

Apparently Gottlieb signed a 28 (soon to be 29) year old player to his UWGB roster.

I've heard Shaka has been at a lot of the 2026 Herro games too.

"My trainer up in Green Bay says he sees a lot of Carmelo Anthony in my game. Just with the way that I work in the post and can make plays from there for myself. I need to improve on my three-point shot and that's something I want to be better with by August. Also just tightening up my handle so I can make things happen away from the rim»

Unlikely he'd remember much about Carmelo Anthony.

Davion Thompson and Jaxson Davis are special. Hopefully MU can land one of them.

Lucas Morillo on the brink of a rankings debut

One player who stirred up buzz during the live period was City Rocks' Lucas Morillo. The 6-foot-6 wing out of Boston (Mass.) The Newman School is being pursued by multiple high majors, but his recruitment could continue to expand.

Morillo is currently unranked in the 247Sports Top 150, but his size, frame, feel for the game, and skill are on the brink of changing that.

While he didn't get the win against Brad Beal Elite, he put up a good fight behind his 16 points, four rebounds, and two assists.

Morillo has versatility to his game with a strong and mature body, able to attack and score inside 18 feet and can pass.

Recruitment: Morillo is currently planning to visit Marquette soon, but more high majors are showing interest, like Boston College and Washington

11 points 12 rebounds 7 assists today......isn't making many 3s this week or shooting it great but filling up the stat sheet

Is it too early to hit the portal to recruit over him?
