Please report back to us how their body language was on the official when it has wrapped up.

Thank you in advance for your service.

Since Herman won't report I will. They appeared to be having a great time. They went down and hung out with Jae Crowder and Marjon Beauchamp for a little while.

Since you are reporting for Herman, how did their necks look?

From a couple weeks back, but MU target Adrien Stevens had some good things to say. Tall guard, looks like a rising prospect

Given that Glow is no longer around to update Page 1, and we have no game until Saturday, what is the short list of our priority 2025 targets as of now? I've got down:

Nyk Lewis
Nigel James
Adrien Stevens
Kelvin Odih

I suspect Davion Hannah and Kai Rodgers will go blue blood. I've also heard that we're No. 1 for Xzavion Mitchell but Shaka has yet to offer.

Who else are the names to watch?

JTJ3

I think you have most of them.

PG:  Nyk Lewis, Nigel James, Azavier Robinson
CG:  Jamarion Batemon (Iowa St leads here)
Wing:  Kelvin Odih, Adrian Stevens

Amari Allen also has an offer but his recruitment has been really quiet and he doesnt seem to be playing much at IMG.  If we take a forward I think it would be Xzavion Mitchell, I hope youre right that we are his #1, he has made a nice jump this HS season with his perimeter skills.

My guess is this class is a PG, Wing and Big Wing/Forward.  Dont see us taking a center with Al, Parham, Hamilton all having multiple years left and Andrew Jensen a year later in 2026.

We could take 4 players in 2025.  Stevie, Kam, Jop, and Kolek/open.

PG, 2 wing G, 1 wing F/stretch 4.  The players that have visited look like the early priorities.  I will be interested to see if Robinson visits this winter, as well as any other visitors.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Mitchell get an offer soon.  Not a lot of stretch 4s linked to Marquette right now, and Mitchell has played very well this year.  Earlier in the thread, it was mentioned Shaka watched Mitchell recently and Mitchell scored 31 in the game.

Are Royce and Damarius joint the program in a couple of weeks? The announcement at the game said spring semester, 2024. Can they practice right away?

I think you misheard. They aren't joining the program until next year.

Jaku did announce Spring 24 at the game. So not misheard but I suspect misspoken.

May and early June are technically spring.  (too pedantic?)

I would love to see us sign four if they are all from the list above.  I just think signing 4 perimeter players all in one class may be a tough sell so Ill be happy with three.   But if anyone can pull it off, id bet on Shaka.

Pretty sure he said they'll be joining in the Spring of 2024, not for the Spring semester. My guess is they get on campus in May, which is still Spring, as opposed to next week, which would be Spring semester.

I think it helps when you have four starters to replace: Kolek, Stevie, Kam, and Jop.

Plus, Sean and Chase would be seniors when 2025 are frosh.  By the time they are sophomores, the starting lineup is up for grabs.

And Norman and Lowery have barely played this year.  Very much TBD if they develop to become future starters.

If Shaka gets a transfer this spring, then I think 2025 becomes a 3 player class.  ESPN updated their draft rankings this morning: 25 Oso, 33 Kolek, 67 Kam.  If all three go, I will be interested to see what Shaka does for next year's roster.

He definitely said "Spring Semester" (which was a weird choice of words), as my wife nudged me and said "wow, they are joining now". I said there is no room at the inn for both so I discounted the source.  😂

Retintion is very big to Shaka but if Cam goes pro MU really does not have an experienced 2 guard then, so he may have to dip into the portal to find somebody!  Not sold yet on the 2 freshman and we probably will not see to much of them the next 2 months.

Chase (Kam's replacement), Sean and Stevie will be the starting guards. No way an experienced guard transfers to MU to be the 4th guard.

Cam hit the open trey vs. Rider, but needs to do more if he's going pro

I do not see Chase as 2 guard, limited offensively, only goes left, no jump shot, average 3 point shooter.  Lowery or Norman maybe a better option but
we have not seen enough to see if there good enough to start.  Like Kam to comeback.

You go away from that in the second half with mostly Roawey/Howard in at the same time...and you lose.
