UConn has had a pretty nice transition.......
Perhaps MU will be as fortunate.

Really? Haven't even started the BE schedule and some here have their Speedos in a knot. Its a bunch of kids shuttin' up and dribblin' so sit back and worry 'bout more important chit. Life goes on regardless, hey?

There will be a transition next year.   Like there is for every team that loses really good players.

The transition will be to Shaka high school recruits. Bench play is important this season.

PointWarrior

I am glad the Marquette Worriers are getting out ahead of the problem a year in advance...

I am worried some about next year re: the front court. Hopefully Gold improves his D (I think he will), hopefully Al Amado isn't another Keeyan Itejere (all dunk not much more) and hopefully one of the incoming bigs can contribute right away.

Im more concerned with the 2030 recruiting class. Need an aircraft carrier.
Assume what I say should be in teal if it doesn't pass the smell test for you.

And that's important every season as well. Bench play upcoming is important to see who can step up against Big East opponents and fill the Big 3's minutes next year.

As of today, only Chase is game starter ready.

Need an aircraft carrier.

Number of aircraft carriers that actually matter in college basketball in 2023.

1 - Zach Edey. That is it.

Aircraft carriers are not important, if you actually have solid rebounders on your team.

Is MU going to make in roads soon with Sularski? I feel like every other power Midwest school has either already offered or is in on him. Not hard at all to see Kolek in his game (if Tyler were 6'7"). Lot of time left as he's only a sophomore, but if MU is going to get involved, hopefully it's soon.

DoctorV

I noticed Momcilovic from Pewaukee on Fantas top 10 frosh of the season and it caught me by surprise.

Having a good year and shooting the 3 ball well over at Iowa St.

Here me out.  He looks a LOT like Omax.

Indeed, but with a better handle on the dribble drive.

Better handle but was beneath the rim on two layups.  He only had two drives to the hoop in that clip though.  Would have been nice to see him rise above the rim and hammer down a dunk but there may not have been an opportunity for that in the game. The guy looks like he can shoot though.  Seems very skilled.  Anyone know how athletic he is?

If you can't get a dunk opportunity against Putnam Science, it's not going to happen against any team in the Big East.

JTJ3

Parham is plenty athletic.  There are numerous videos from this year where he dunks easily.

Based on his size and some interviews he has done it sounds like the expectation is for him to play the 5 in a similar role to Oso does now.  Just more shooting and a little less passing, but he will be fun to watch.

He does not look like he needs 2 or 3 years in the weightroom before he is ready to play either unlike some of our recent bigs.
