We are the last visit.  If he makes it through LSU, St. Johns and VCU, I'd be very confident in a commitment after he visits.
He has  a final list of 6 teams.  2 more visits to be scheduled?

If he does take 2 visits, one would be official and the other would be unofficial.  Max 5 official visits.

The October 5 visit is set for Homecoming weekend, which includes Marquette Madness, open practices for both teams, a Block Party, & the Rock the Mall concert. Love to see Lundy here the same weekend if we make his list.

I always wonder when a recruit names a top 6 at this point in the game. You only get 5 official visits. If the 6th school doesn't get an official are they even in the running? I know there are recruits who commit without taking an official visit, but I can't think of a recruit who has taken 5 official visits and the committed to a 6th school unless a blue blood comes calling late.

Anywho, I like the date of the visit. Possibly the last visit and comes on homecoming weekend. Bishop would be a nice add who I could see developing into an important contributor.

It seems like six logos fit on the tweet best!  What I did notice is that half his list is BEast.

Feel very positive about it. If you see his VCU comment it sounds like they are there because they were there very early.

Seth Lundy's top 8 coming out tomorrow. Haven't heard us mentioned with him since his unofficial last month.

Looks like a top 10 to me.

Marquette, Georgetown, Florida, Oregon, Virginia Tech, Louisville, Penn State, Ole Miss, LaSalle and Temple.

Only top 9 unless you think the LaSalle Explorers actually have a chance.
I mean, OK, maybe he's secretly a serial killer who's pulled the wool over our eyes with his good deeds and smooth jumper - Pakuni (on Markus Howard)

We are positioned well at the end the process. Also nice to get the LSU football game out of the way early and have several more after . If he takes a 5th official would probably be Colorado . Seton Hall is relatively close to home and he could do that as an unofficial which would follow up the recent unofficial he did this summer there.   In any event, it is great to get James on campus.

I wonder if he miscounted or added two late. Either way,  a manageable list to compete with.  Let's see if we get him on campus

EDIT: It looks like Georgetown offered him today and then made the top 10. I wonder if they were one of the two late adds.

From a statistical standpoint, in limited (8G) action in UAA league play, posted a 117 ORtg with 34% usage & 36% %shots. Shot well (57.4% eFG / attempts split evenly with 53.7% 2FG% & 40.6% 3FG%).

Not much rebounding...18% assist, 17% to rate, 22% ft rate (87% makes - no Matta)... 2.9% stl rate.

Will be interesting to see if any big bois try to jump in late

Is he a true point or more of an off guard?

I think he's a combo guard — more appeal for schools with his size to be a PG so he's playing the position some, but profile is more like a Markus. Can play PG, but programmed to get buckets.  If he plays PG, he's gonna be a scorer first.

In his videos he is most certainly not a PG.  #5 on his Aau team is clearly the PG.  Now the videos mostly show him driving or shooting, often times receving passes or drive and kicks from #5.  This doesnt mean he doesnt have or couldnt delvelop skills of a PG, but in his videos he is clearly playing the 2.  Semms to be athletic, maybe a little thin, maybe a little left hand dependent , but clearly a nice young player.

Iowa State also offered a bunch of other players from Phenom University at the same time. I have to say, I laughed at DePaul when they offered the whole team but I can see why now.
